Navigating Asian Financial Markets: The Jersey Perspective

Whilst our Business Development team were back in Jersey this summer, Yiow and Maria had a chance to catch up and discuss their respective activities in their regions during the first half of 2023. Yiow, who focusses on Singapore and the wider South East Asia, highlighted the increasing presence of family offices in Singapore. Additionally, he pointed out the rising interest of Asia finance intermediaries in UK and European real estate and how Jersey is equipped to support this. Maria, who is located in Shanghai, talked about her plans for mainland China following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions and about the success of Jersey Finance's WeChat official account.
