We're also going to talk about a new movie based not on Spider-Man but in the Spider-Man universe. Okay, alright, mr Amazing, but begin today's show. Talk about PlayStation 4 turning not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not eight, not not ten years old.

Speaker 2Yeah, I mean PlayStation 4 dropped November of 2013. Still going strong. Some of the games you play on it right now still are relevant to this day, even though we got the newer consoles out. Right now, you can still go on your PS4 and play a game. You just look just as I mean. Obviously, I can look just as good as the PS5 games, but it's still good. It's playable. You still enjoy it. And one of the greatest things about the PS4 was that I call it the rebound system for Sony because, as we all know, the prior generation they got the ass kicked by Xbox.
Speaker 1I think what the mind said that ass kicked, but eventually PlayStation 3 outsold Xbox 360.
Speaker 2It outsold Xbox 360 with longevity but not doing their run side by side.
Speaker 1You talk about longevity right Longer you're sub aside, it's still the same thing.
Speaker 2I know, but I'm talking about when the consoles were hot. When the consoles were hot, everybody was playing Xbox 360. Yeah, that's not me.
Speaker 1But it outsold it. I even know that, beyond what you, it outsold it. I mentioned it several times. You should probably do that. I got to get memories? No, you probably did. But the mind share. It went to Xbox 360. And that's why I thought Xbox One will come out and do continued domination or be side by side with Sony.
Speaker 2Oh, got you, I'll let you continue. Yeah, no, no, Essentially, what you said was pretty good information. Actually I mean the PS4, I still consider the rebound.

Speaker 2I think you're right, so I saying that, yeah, because you know Sony got it right by getting the price right, because, remember the PS3, when it came out with the price, that was a big problem.

Another thing that they did they got right was well, you know it's going to happen, because the day and ages of technology was the how many times Sony got hacked. A lot of people's information got put out on the three. That was a big problem they had with the PS3. They had one big hack, they had a bigger, but they had another one too, but the big one's the one that still got the most, though.

Speaker 2That's all I say. It's like I did, but Sony's forever was glorified for that one. But when the PS4 came out, they took care of that. And then, the most important thing, when the PS4 do, they had a lot of exclusives. Man, yes, and I think that's what put arms left from.

Speaker 2But you're right though. So I mean some of the best games you played. Michael Mann on PS4,. Can you give me a?
Speaker 1few Yo. Spider-man, spider-man, spider-man, spider-man. Yeah, we can say that all of the top selling games, we'll say the top selling game of that generation is Spider-Man. It sold over 20 million, really More than Uncharted.
Speaker 2Uncharted 4 sold 16 million Wait it could have sold more than God of War.
Speaker 1God of War sold 19.5 million.
Speaker 2How much. Like Spider-Man said, you said 20 million also just beat it out. Yes, but I think you. But you know why. I think it's a little bit unfair because they didn't.

One day that did well and my God is everywhere. It was everywhere, like Grand, grand death rondo, but they were more dominant on that, on that system. I felt the doing that time.
Speaker 1For that time span though, you know right, the last those remasters sold over 10 million copies.
Speaker 2That's that you're right. I forgot about that. You're right about that as well. I mean, there's a couple, one man to unfortunately, um, even your game that never comes out. We don't all start what it was.

Sony's Achievements and Future Collaborations

Speaker 2It's worth. It's worth the. I felt I was gonna pull front of the price, but I don't be honest with you. It's worth it. I don't say that a lot for deluxe packages, but this one is definitely worth it. And you're getting a game of the year nominees.
