Speaker 1:

Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Gamer Traffic Show. I'm your host, mike Sampson, chillin' with my co-host Simply amazing by doing today. Hey everybody, get up for Mr Amazing. On today's Gamer Traffic Show we're going to talk about Microsoft Might be buying another studio. Mr Amazing, what do you think about this?

Speaker 2:

Bad idea.

Speaker 1:

Oh, damn it, Mr Amazing. Do you have any hope? Microsoft, Give him a chance, Mr.

Speaker 2:

Amazing Make a game set by a studio. That's my intake Shots are still fired.

Speaker 1:

But Mr Amazing this is coming from a previous podcast Mr Amazing has not let up on Xbox. We also talk about Nintendo. They're not coming with a new game, not coming with a new studio, but we'll tell you on the show. But we're going to say a show talking about what Mr Amazing solely stayed or played the biggest happening of this week and the biggest disappointment according to the internet, mr Amazing.

Speaker 2:

Internet's talking.

Speaker 1:

Yo internet's talking, baby Streets is talking. Yo, mr Amazing Internet's talking Yo.

Speaker 2:

internet's talking, baby Streets is talking Yo.

Speaker 1:

Mr Amazing, what do you think about the state of play for Sony PlayStation?

Speaker 2:

Okay, I mean, I know a lot of people are disappointed because they didn't see the big name titles.

Speaker 1:

Like God of War. Oh, they didn't see God of.

Speaker 2:

War, mr Amazing, they didn't see God of War, but not the God of War they wanted to see. But I think it's too soon for God of War, to be honest with you. So I don't want people to be upset by that. It's just too soon. Maybe a DLC, another DLC, dlc, go see. But not.

Speaker 1:

I hope you'll do a DLC of. Ruffington's son.

Speaker 2:

Oh, because of the journey he went to, saving that for the new one. That's probably what they're doing.

Speaker 1:

But I think if they could do a DLC and have them meet later on in the full God of War game I mean true, Like you do the same 4B-2 Miles Riles.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean that would be kind of cool. Maybe that's nice, because we're not seeing God of War come out 2020. Is it 2018? Of 2022? Yeah, 2022 right yeah it's too soon. You're not getting a God Award in two years. Why don't people expect that? You guys are getting spoiled, man. You're not seeing another God Award until at least 2026, and that's.

Speaker 1:

I'm not talking about the trailer, not the game yeah, so I mean you didn't see no information on Charlie, if anything was happening with that series? Yeah you know what I'm saying? Infamous was the door man, but nothing from them.

Speaker 2:

Remember the thought, because I mean, I thought that too you might announce Ghost of Shima, because that's what a lot of people are talking about because, you know, with the Rise of Ronin release, talk about it. Ghost of Shima is celebrating probably their four-year anniversary, patrick. I know it came out around the summer of 2020, was it 2021? I don't remember. I think it's probably 2020 it came out. So, with them celebrating their four-year anniversary Patrick, I thought we might get a little glimpse of what's next.

Speaker 2:

And there's been a lot of talk about it online. The director's cut came out for the PC so we thought maybe we might get a little bit of a sneak peek of a new one from Sucker Punch, but that's what I honestly thought we would see.

Speaker 1:

We both said that, yeah, that's something that we expected to hear about.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

We're probably not going to see no gameplay. But here yo News, little talks, freaking graphic artworks ain't coming.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but let's talk about what we did see though.

Speaker 1:

Mike man, the new, the new Astro Bar game, which is probably the most impressive thing in the showcase, mr Amazing.

Speaker 2:

I agree with that. I mean, it actually looks good. Let me knock that out. I think that was the best thing on there. It looks good, it's more extended, but it's not like I'm not saying, oh, let me give it a little height. No, it's actually really good. I would.

Speaker 1:

I was like oh all right, you got me. No, it's good.

Speaker 2:

Graphically, they used a lot of the PlayStation 5 theme on there. That's the spaceship he's using. You see characters from Sony in there, god of War characters.

Speaker 1:

Papa the Rapper yes, anybody Get.

Speaker 2:

Love, they go to nostalgia for other.

Speaker 1:

PlayStation systems. Yeah so yeah, I was actually impressed. Some of the bosses in this show was.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, it was actually impressive and some of the bosses they showed was actually impressive.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, it is, it is. It gives me that Sonic meets Mario Galaxy kind of feel to it, to be honest with you, but it's all good, but it's Sony's way. So I definitely think that's going to be a good game. And the cool thing about that, one that's coming out very soon, that comes out on September 6th. I wish they gave us a price on that. I'm curious on the price because I don't think it's a $70 game.

Speaker 1:

The most I see pushing it is $59.99. Probably, but even that.

Speaker 2:

I don't think it's a good. I think a $50 price might be better for that. Oh yeah, I think a $50 price too, but I think it's not high case. Regardless, I do think it's a good game actually, I think for that particular game.

Speaker 1:

You think you'd get away with it, at least on PC as well.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. I feel like a game like that shouldn't go on PC. Well, yeah, cause it's about using Sony, this that why would PC want? That yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't think that game is ever going on, PC saying yo, look at this style, look at the characters, the IP that we have?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but they're not gonna. Pc's not gonna be no part of that, Come on.

Speaker 1:

PC's everywhere. Pc's not.

Speaker 2:

PC's not a brand like Xbox, I know but I just feel like it's just too much Sony. To be honest with you, I can't see it.

Speaker 1:

Open the game of Forgotten War or Ghost of Tsushima, where you're on the Steam Deck on PC and it's going to show the PlayStation logo.

Speaker 2:

That's true too. In the sound, yeah, but you're not using a goddamn PlayStation as your spaceship.

Speaker 1:

All right, mr Mason, yeah, but Okay, what else they had?

Speaker 2:

there Concord, concord, which I thought you I know you disagree with me, but I thought that was decent also, I thought you know, I thought it was cute, I thought it was a waste of screen time.

Speaker 1:

They spent 12 minutes on this. They showed a cutscene. I'm thinking like alright, maybe it's kind of like a story narrative driven game. You know what I'm saying? Multiplayer aspect. Then that's on the gameplay. Then I'm like oh, overwatch Part 3.

Speaker 2:

Mike wasn't impressed. Put it that way, y'all. No, I'm not impressed, I'm not impressed.

Speaker 1:

Mr Mays is willing to give it a chance. But what I always say, you talk with your wallet. And I don't think Mr Mays is going to talk with his wallet for this particular game. Probably not.

Speaker 2:

But one that I will talk with my wallet is going to be when Wind Meets. So, for all that knows, I personally love anything with Samurai, japanese Feudal Ninja. You show me that I'm sold, and you guys, whoever's been watching the show you realize I always buy those games and this falls in that criteria, so this one is definitely a buy for me.

Speaker 1:

It's developed for the PlayStation 5. Yeah, it's supposed to come out next year, so we'll see. Yes, we'll see that's the game I'm looking forward to. I mean the way things are shaping up with Sony. I think right now it's 2025. So I'm looking for games 2025. Well, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. But they kind of said they did say 2024 is not going to be one of the. Oh yeah, they did say that.

Speaker 1:

They said it looks like you won't get any big hit PlayStation game until, especially for the first party to after March.

Speaker 2:

That's true. Okay, is this fair to say that? Because I think at this point you've got to move from the PlayStation 4. Because PS4 is so Silent Hill is not going to be on the PlayStation 4. That's what I'm saying Because, yes, more people have the PS4, which can make sense, but it's also a price burden for PlayStation to keep making games backwards and then have to cut back on it because they got to make sure that the Pacers could run this on it, but maybe graphically, Graphically burdened, I would say yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I think at this point, most games you see moving forward, especially from this day to play I think it's going to be PS5 exclusives, We'll see.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go coming down to money.

Speaker 2:

No, it does. But like you want your PS5 to sell and be the number one system for you, how do you do that? Stop making for the PS4.

Speaker 1:

But you also mentioned that, oh, they might show the PS Pro on there. I did say that. No, you know, that was not happening.

Speaker 2:

I did say that.

Speaker 1:

Even with the PS Slim. They just did a blog announcement.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, you're right there ain't no big announcement.

Speaker 1:

Reference to that.

Speaker 2:

No, you're right about that.

Speaker 1:

And any other games that hit you doing that thing. I mean it's really no shooting. I saw Destiny, a new Destiny Wars, coming out.

Speaker 2:

I saw that it was pretty good.

Speaker 1:

And I'm interested. I always bought Destiny Wars again. I find it interesting. Most of the time I wouldn. I'm most likely going to buy it if it does come out to 2025. Okay, exile 2 that looks pretty good. A top down player game, if you like. If you like Diablo, you'll like this game. I'm very interested. I got to get Mr Amazing and Diablo, so we're playing some NBA 2K other stuff rolling, so I got to get back in the multiplayer games yeah so we lost?

Speaker 2:

well, I didn't gotta touch that we got the new.

Speaker 1:

Teenage Mutant Turtle game that came out.

Speaker 2:

I haven't played that we gotta touch that. We haven't done that yet but back to the showcase yes, sir. And then did we mention God of War is going on. The God of War Ragnar will be making his debut on the PC.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and you need a PSN account.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it's this year, september this year.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you're a PC player yo.

Speaker 2:

If you're a PC player, this is a must-get. It's a must-get, definitely get. Yeah, definitely get.

Speaker 1:

I wonder how fast it will sell on PC. That's a good question.

Speaker 2:

It's fantastic, that's a good question. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I mean yo, God of War, keep printing money, so yo.

Speaker 2:

I mean, hey, the God of War 1, 2018, right, that's what they call it, god of War 2018?

Speaker 1:

God of War.

Speaker 2:

Yeah 2018. That one did very well, so I expect the same for Ragnor. But, Silent Hill what do?

Speaker 1:

you think about that?

Speaker 2:

You know I always sound biased when it comes to Silent Hill because I was never into Silent.

Speaker 1:

Hill. So were you the kind of person like Silent Hill versus Resident Evil? Yeah, and I.

Speaker 2:

Resident.

Speaker 1:

Evil 1. Everyone know.

Speaker 2:

Resident Evil 1. No, you didn't for me, and it sucks because I had the Silent Hill games but I never played them. I never played Not one of them, to be honest with you.

Speaker 1:

I never finished them. I always sold them at the game shop. Finished them, I always sold them at the game shop. Yeah, so.

Speaker 2:

And for some reason you did say this to me off-air. Graphically it looks a little outdated but, like you said, it could be because we're looking at it through YouTube and yeah, it's not direct, it's not, you know, we're not there in person looking at the games graphically.

Speaker 1:

And it's early build. I mean it's kind of too late for early build.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it looks more like a PlayStation, like a last gen game to me, I was impressed and I just said that in the previous podcast.

Speaker 1:

Yo, I'm not impressed with it.

Speaker 2:

No, you've been consistent with that. I give you that.

Speaker 1:

I'm constantly consistent with that. So I'm like, oh, oh, this better be, this better be good. And, like I said, when I see it I'll probably most of the time I'm going to buy it and I'll go from there, yeah we'll go.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you buy it, I'll play it. That's how we do it.

Speaker 1:

That's how we usually do it anything else, we'll touch on the PlayStation state of play nah that's it for me, man so so no, I, that's it for me, man. So how about that little? Oh, there's one game. No, the place in VR. Two games showed up oh yeah two games showed up that's good.

Speaker 2:

The other game looked very interesting.

Speaker 1:

Didn't get much on it. Also Behemoth I believe it's Behemoth. That looks very interesting. Otherwise that's nothing much to say about VR. Still not. Still not gonna come with a monthly free game. At least you can say that that would've been nice that would've been nice if they announced it so you could push your product. But no, that's Sony for you.

Speaker 2:

Are you surprised?

Speaker 1:

yeah, I'm not surprised, I've been begging for this a long time and gamers need to beg for it. If you want to be got these PlayStation VR 2, what are you going to give us? It costs more than the damn system. Come on Sony. But, mr Amazing, anything else you want to touch about the PlayStation? Sorry, I was going to say showcase, stay in the play. I mean let's give you, let's give you a grade.

Speaker 2:

C plus for me. C minus for me. Yeah, c plus Because I didn't See there weren't any games that stood out to me but I shouldn't be surprised that Sony didn't warn us About that but a C plus Because I did see A couple of things I did like you know, like the two games I mentioned. So that's why C plus.

Speaker 1:

I went to C minus I just thought, uh, it was very bland. Silent Hill was the biggest disappointment for me. Astro Bar is the best thing on the show. Um, when, when it meets with very interesting but ain't coming out to next year, so nothing. It's nothing really to get hyped about and, like you said, sony did mention do not get overhyped for it Nothing for their major studios to come out with. I was disappointed for Crown Court.

Speaker 1:

I thought it would be something better than that. What they showed me? Nothing but an Overwatch ripoff. I know they mentioned a couple of third-party games like Dynasty Warriors and the Marvel. What's the other?

Speaker 2:

Marvel Ultimate Alliance. No, not Ultimate Alliance, oh God, I forgot, it's called.

Speaker 1:

The new Marvel game that looks like Overwatch, but with Marvel characters. What's the?

Speaker 2:

name of that one again, I forgot.

Speaker 1:

You know what I forgot? I was doing interest in it. I mean I'm being honest. I mean I came out, I watched it. Okay, again, I'm not gonna buy. If you're into Marvel characters, you might go, you might buy. I'm into Marvel characters, hey, I might change my mind like yo, let me get into it, but most likely I won't. I can see that they're just trying to get more money, more money, more money from Marvel Rivals.

Speaker 2:

Marvel Rivals, here we go.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so no, but the Pupil, like I said, the Pupil I'd be interested in, of course, just because of the characters. The likes of the characters.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so this Xbox showcase was good because it felt like an Xbox showcase.

Speaker 1:

Nah, I'm just kidding man, leave Xbox out of that Because your out of that Because Xbox doesn't want to think oh shoot Indiana Jones, all right, there's nothing else after that. But, mr Mason, let's continue on PlayStation News. Playstation only has one new boss, mr Mason, they have two new bosses.

Speaker 2:

That's right.

Speaker 1:

Mr Mason, tell the people their names, because one person there I might mispronounce and I won't let you handle it, no problem.

Speaker 2:

no problem. So you know, old boss, mr Jim Ryan, you know sadly quit. Well, some say forced out.

Speaker 1:

Mr Mays didn't say forced out, hey, wait, let's get straight. Mr Mays didn't say forced out?

Speaker 2:

What young man his age just leaves a job paying so well? You let me do my. Would you be retiring and doing a job like that anytime soon?

Speaker 1:

Like you, he wanted to spend time with family, the AKA.

Speaker 2:

I'm about to get fired. What's that girl? The lady from Xbox that said the same thing too. Well, y'all knew she got fired, so same thing. I forgot her name, my God I don't know, it's amazing.

Speaker 2:

But anyway, we're going to talk about Sony now. So Jim Ryan, who stepped out, is now being replaced by Herman Hulse, who's going to be the CEO of Studios, and Hadiki Nishnu, who's going to be CEO of Platforms. So Sony decided, with their new direction, they're going to have two CEOs and they're going to split the job duty, which is a great idea to me.

Speaker 1:

I mean, like I say, if anyone knew Herman Hurst, he was the head of Guerrilla Games. That means yo, founder of Killzone, founder of Horizon Zero Dawn, people. So Herbert Hurst is in the house in 2019. Mr Hurst stepped up, watched Playstation Studios, yes after Sean Reigns had left, so he overseen development of Spider-Man 2 and what up, god of War, ragnarok, which is cool.

Speaker 2:

so Sony got two in-house people too, because Mr Nish, no right, I might say Hadikic. Let's just say Hadikic for my sake, yes for you. And I apologize for saying your name wrong he's been around since April 2016 as a product strategy and management for Sony, so you know, as he steps into a new role as a co-founder and managing director yeah well, that was his prior job- His prior job was to start a PlayStation platform technology experience.

Speaker 2:

Okay. So, like we said, sony got two in-house people to do the job and I think they're going to do a good job. I think they're going to do a good job. I think they're going to do a good job. I think they're going to do a good job. I think Sony went the right direction with doing this. So they both start June 1st.

Speaker 1:

Right around the corner, mr Amazing yes it is. Now Mr Hammerhurst also stated that he's thrilled to lead the studio business group and continue to build success for the PlayStation 5,. Mr Amazing so yo.

Speaker 2:

Hey, yo Traffic wish you good luck and, more importantly, gamer Traffic invites you guys to the show. Come talk to us about the show. Yeah, come talk to us people. We look forward to you. Come talk to us.

Speaker 1:

But they don't allow their people to talk that much. They don't.

Speaker 2:

They don't. But hey, if you guys want a platform to talk, it's open and we'll even let you script the questions. We'll even let you script the questions. I don't know, Mr Mays.

Speaker 1:

We don't script, we don't let people script the questions, all right.

Speaker 2:

We want it raw. Pause, isn't it, diddy? Now I don't know, I don't get to use it.

Speaker 1:

I mean, look, it's beginning a new and for these individuals, wisdom, best of luck. And you know this will screw it up. Fair, playstation is the world leader in video games, not counting on Nintendo. Not counting on, that's a counted out. Nintendo is still one of the biggest platforms, as well as gaming as well. What's the other place? What's the other place? Gamestop.

Speaker 2:

GameStop.

Speaker 1:

It's Xbox. I forgot about that. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Speaker 2:

Xbox it's okay, xbox is somewhere looking for another studio to buy.

Speaker 1:

When you're not first, you're last.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Sadly, you are man.

Speaker 1:

But, mr Mason, let's continue with Xbox news. No, mr Mason, okay, boom Xbox. To you with Xbox news, mr Amazing, okay, boom, xbox, yo what?

Speaker 2:

they do.

Speaker 1:

Their walls are always open. Mr Amazing Yo, it caused some reports or rumors, kind of high-fetched rumors. There's leaks that Microsoft is going to buy Steam and Valve. It's rumors. I doubt it's going to happen. I can't see it happening.

Speaker 2:

Half-life? No way, I can't see that. That's just too big of a thing, not that they can't afford it. It's just that I don't see why. What's the purpose of it? What's the point? I don't see it, especially with Microsoft at one point talking about just making games. Now they don't know what direction they want to go, and then they're making, they're making head hells, Mr Mason Spencer has to come out and defute all these things.

Speaker 2:

I don't think right now is the best time for them to be mentioned about buying studios anymore At this point. Drop some damn games.

Speaker 1:

I'm not thinking they reportedly offer. No. I wasn't saying reportedly the offer, no, I'm going to say importantly, the legend rumor said they offered 16 billion to buy them when you got money to waste.

Speaker 2:

Man, that's what you do, yeah, but if you're? If you're, why would you want to do that though?

Speaker 1:

they're printing money. Why would you want to do that?

Speaker 2:

exactly, and my thing with xboxes.

Speaker 1:

It's hard enough trying to run one studio two studios three studios. They have like over 20 studios and they just recently called out four studios.

Speaker 2:

It makes no sense.

Speaker 1:

It makes no sense for them to do that this is going to stay a rumor.

Speaker 2:

I have a feeling, this one I don't see. If it does, I will be very surprised I'm speechless.

Speaker 1:

But we never know.

Speaker 2:

Microsoft, what? Okay, they might blow all my hands away, but we keep saying that. I keep saying that the last one wasn't as bad, because I think Indiana Jones saved it. And there's another game I forgot the name of the game that also was pretty, very good too. But until those games come out, we're just hopeful, like, alright, this is gonna be it, this is gonna be it. I mean every year. Yeah, but my thing is, if Since 2013? No, I know, but let's say, this showcase comes out next month, well, this won't be practically June now, and then it's just more of the same stuff, just more Indiana Jones. It's like, okay, okay, we'll see Microsoft, not because now I'm on edge with you guys. Yeah, all right, more happy stuff. What we got going on.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, more happy. Let's go to the top. This is probably a BS rumor. Somebody just want to go to Twitter. Bull crap, this is not happening. You know, if I was printing money, they don't need Xbox to run them or Sony or Nintendo. They're good, they're good, exactly, they're good. But, mr Mason, let's go to the big boy, the godfather of gaming. Don't you ever forget that, what you know, what I'm saying, I didn't have to tell Mr Mason who the Godfather gave me. Yeah, we all know who it is. We all know who it is. Nintendo has announced plans, officially announced well, officially announced a Nintendo store in San Francisco, mr Mason.

Speaker 2:

Nice. So their first US store was the one in Manhattan, in Rockefeller, right yeah.

Speaker 1:

I went there. I've never been there, I've never been there.

Speaker 2:

I've been there. I took Tommy's Youngs. I was probably there maybe like 11 to 12 years ago the last time I was there, maybe give or take. It was fun. It was a cool experience. They had every single system in there. They had a history. They had old Game Boys that was in a fire. They still had it in the shell case. It was pretty cool. It's a good experience.

Speaker 1:

I I have no idea.

Speaker 2:

I think it's probably the location. I think what it is. Is that their Union Square? I think that's what it's going to be. It's going to be opening up in Union Square, san Francisco, in 2025. And I think what they're saying is that the location is going to be. It's plausible, for.

Speaker 1:

Nintendo.

Speaker 2:

It's a prime. Exactly that's what I'm looking for. It's a prime location, so I'm assuming the Lair is going to be like the one here in Manhattan and, for those who haven't been, I definitely recommend it. It's a nice experience for all. I think it's good. I mean, I'm not going to say I'm going to San Francisco just for that. I'm not. We have one in New York anyway, so it makes no sense. But for those who haven't been, who are located in the California area, specifically the Bay Area, go Amazing. Yes, sir, let's go to our trails of the week. Oh, we got one. What is it Inside out?

Speaker 1:

One, two, okay, all right, let's check it out.

Speaker 2:

Sadness is in the house, it's anger let me at him.

Speaker 1:

We gotta get our mouth guard. People fear.

Speaker 2:

No, no, that's not ours disgust glad to have her on our team. Our little girl's growing up so fast, ow sorry, it should be nothing but smooth sailing hello, I'm anxiety. Where can I put my stuff? A new emotion. Oh, I'm sorry. We wanted to make such a good first impression. What do you mean? We I'm envy. Oh, look at your hair. Oh yeah, not happening. That's on.

Speaker 1:

We on what it's what you would call the boredom what's your name, big fella.

Speaker 2:

That's embarrassment. Welcome to headquarters, embarrassment. Oh, we're doing a fit. No, oh, no going high. Oh, you got a real sweaty palm there. Buddy, look, we all have a job to do. I plan for the future.

Speaker 2:

You want to sit with us? These girls are so cool. We can't let her know we're excited. I got this. Uh, joy, I'm just curious. Maybe, um, I thank you, not now. Yeah, yeah, that's not gonna haunt us for the rest of our lives at all. Joy, I'm just curious. Maybe, um, I could Thank you, not now. Yeah, yeah, that's not gonna haunt us for the rest of our lives at all. Are you feeling all right? I know change is scary. Let's do this, hey, riley, but we need new friends or we'll be totally alone in high school. That would be old. In with the new. Riley's life requires more sophisticated emotions than all of you. You can't just bottle us up. We are suppressed emotions. Let Operation New Riley begin. You aren't packed yet. I'm the worst. Well, that's a preview of the next ten years. Come on, riley means us. Have I ever steered you wrong before Many times? What is that? It's a sarcasm. Sarcasm, boy, are we so lucky? We ran into you, guys. Boy, are we so lucky, we ran into you guys, wow.

Speaker 1:

Those guys are jerks. Wow, those guys are jerks. Mr Mason, what do you think of Inside Out, part 2?

Speaker 2:

Part 2. Yep, it's cute, it's cute, I mean it's cute, mean it's cute, but it's not for me.

Speaker 1:

I'll be honest with you you're not saying it to your kids.

Speaker 2:

I don't think they would be interested in this one, well more of my daughter. I don't think they should be interested in this one. What about you? Oh yeah, I don't think this one's not for me. I see why. I would want to see a Shrek or, you know, minions but, this one, it didn't reach me. I mean, I giggled at some sports, but this one's not for me.

Speaker 1:

Look you know how much Inside first Inside made. They made a part two because they didn't make no money. They made part two because they made money.

Speaker 2:

The Inside Out the first one you talked about. Okay, so as I do, that yeah, cause, like I said, they're not doing it because you know yo it ain't make no money, just make another one it must make a sufficient amount of money for them to do it okay, so this, uh, it's theoretical run ended in December 10, 2015 and then, yeah, almost 10 years ago, it didn't make that much to me. It made $356 million. It was in the US and Canada as the four-fifth grossest film of the year that year.

Speaker 1:

How about?

Speaker 2:

worldwide. Let's see If I click on Wicca, Wicca, Wicca, Wicca. What did it say? What did it make worldwide worldwide gross? I thought it would be here in the Wikipedia thing worldwide worldwide. Alright Godzilla, the 2015 inside out made 90.3 during its opening weekend. It went on to make 858 million at the global box office so, yeah, almost a bill.

Speaker 1:

That's why it's just a part two.

Speaker 2:

So then, that's why you could make a part two.

Speaker 1:

I didn't think it would wait that long. I guess what?

Speaker 2:

Almost 10 years right.

Speaker 1:

Which is what? Five, which is more? I don't understand. 10 years ago man.

Speaker 2:

I mean I'll be honest with you, but not to say others won't like it. I'm not going to knock it. They still think it's a cute kid movie.

Speaker 1:

So you greenlight it.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to greenlight it because I don't like it. I mean, I can't greenlight it. Gardigar loves everybody, so I'm going to greenlight it. Gardigar's lying, but I'll greenlight it as well.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I. Our next topic is our shoot and care topic of the week and, mr Amazing, guess what sports franchise is making a comeback? Ooh, that has been around for years. Ea Sports announced about a week ago that College Football 25 video game is coming this summer. Mr Amazing, june, no, sorry, july 19th. Oh, you got a official date. Okay, yes, mr Amazing, are you getting that? No, mr Amazing.

Speaker 2:

June. No, sorry, july 19th. Oh, you got a official date.

Speaker 1:

Okay, yes, mr Amazing, are you getting that?

Speaker 2:

No, Mr Amazing Cosplay ball games are fun, though I don't know half the college teams.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true too. I try to play the local teams and you get them to get them a butt kick to the Rutgers. Those teams I know about.

Speaker 2:

No, Back then I used to rent them all the time. It was actually pretty fun. I enjoyed playing them.

Speaker 1:

What TV did you play with? I don't know what they were either.

Speaker 2:

I picked school names. You said Rock and State, like that Pretty much, but I was playing in-house with my brother, though it is what it is. It was fun though.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you know what I'm saying, so should we care a lot a little or not at all.

Speaker 2:

I think that's what we do have to care, because a lot of people wanted this back, so I think it's something we should care. Actually, A lot of people wanted this, so I'm going to go yeah, we should care a lot actually. What about you?

Speaker 2:

I mean it's better than just playing Madden all the time. So I mean, they give a different feel about it. Yeah, and it's an actual football game. It's not the Michael Vick experience or whatever. It's an actual football game, no disrespect, but you get a full-blown football game. He'll get the dogs at you, son. Well, let's hope he doesn't. It's a change man, but Mr Mason.

Speaker 1:

Back to sport topics. What video game sports franchise you'd like to come back? I'm not going to name all. Back to sport topics what video game sports franchise you'd like to come?

Speaker 2:

back. I'm not going to name all mine, because we could take turns. My number one, though, is NFL 2K. Yeah, I was going to say that that's my number one NFL 2K, nfl 2K.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I will also say NBA Street Agree, I had those on there too.

Speaker 2:

My third one is actually NBA Street, agree I was on there too.

Speaker 1:

My third one was actually NBA Jam, that's it. But then we recently came back, a few years ago.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I want to see what rosters now, today's rosters. That'll be kind of cool, especially when the guys shoot threes now. That'll be kind of cool. That'll be kind of cool. Anything else? Yeah, I have Go yeah.

Speaker 1:

I have Go ahead, I have a racing game Go ahead oh 60 Seconds.

Speaker 2:

That was fun For Disney. 60.

Speaker 1:

Seconds for Disney. Yeah, that was great.

Speaker 2:

That was fun. I would like to see a modern version of Tecmo football. I'd like to see a modern day version of that, or maybe NFL Blitz.

Speaker 1:

One of those two, I just remember they have Arcane One on Hazard.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this may have come back Somewhat.

Speaker 1:

So I wouldn't say that NBA Live.

Speaker 2:

I was thinking that too. But NBA Live the thing with NBA Live is that the last few years was very difficult. So I think it's still on people's recent memory how difficult it was to see that.

Speaker 1:

Also how difficult it was to see that. Well, also, I would say, now I am in a live, I like to see the Madribble, yeah, the Madribble, sony's San Diego studio do a basketball game.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, I can see that they're killing the baseball game.

Speaker 1:

They're killing the baseball game. They're doing excellent work with that. That'd be great to see that.

Speaker 2:

That would be great to see. That that would be, but maybe that's why they didn't want to stick with what they know, yo, so that's good. What was that NHL game where you could fight like crazy? That game was Played still. Yeah, I used to love that one. The NHL games are pretty. I see good games. Yeah, no, no, they are. Yeah, it's some pretty good ones. I'm surprised you didn't say one that I thought you really really wanted to see what. Jordan versus Bird. I had that game Get out of here. I had that. I even had the Kobe Bryant game. Maybe he rest in peace. That game was whack, though. That was in the 10. I think it was in 1964, was it? That game was whack, though. I had that one too. That game was whack, though. I had that one too.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. But, mr Amazing, do we have a wankster of the week Wankster.

Speaker 2:

Or gangster. Or gangster this week, I don't recall anymore.

Speaker 1:

I might have to pass man, I can both pass this week. But Mr Amazing let's give a shout out to the two teams who are meeting in the NBA Finals Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics. Mr Amazing, what do you think is?

Speaker 2:

going on. I'm going to go with Celtics. I want Dallas to win, but I think the Celtics. I like what I see from Kyrie. I'd like to see Kyrie take this one. I think the storyline for this series is going to be very good, though, because you know, kyrie left Boston. He goes back to Boston to try and redeem himself, where the people thought he quit on the team, and then you know Luka going for his championship.

Speaker 1:

There's a lot Next. Now I play with Boston.

Speaker 2:

Porzingis Going back to Mavericks, Remember Going back to yeah, because it was him and Luka Luka said yo, I can't play with him. Yeah, so there's a lot of storylines here, so that's pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

And she moved to DC to die and then Washington.

Speaker 2:

what Bullets Suns, bullets Wizards. A couple of shout outs too. I want to give a shout out to the graduating classes of 2024. Shout out to you because you know I'm walking the streets. I see everybody in their graduate cap and gown, so I want to give a shout out to them. So that was pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

And.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to give a shout out to my brother and his crew.

Speaker 1:

They're all honored for saving lives, so I'll give a shout for saving the kids there you go Shout out to Mike man, he got one too.

Speaker 2:

Man, Look at that. A lot of shots to go around.
