Speaker 1:

Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Gamer Traffic Show. I'm your host, mike Sampson, chilling with my co-host, cp Amazing. How am I doing today? Everybody get up for Mr Amazing. On today's Gamer Traffic Show, we're going to talk about another gaming company. Not buying a studio, mr Amazing, but buying another gaming company. Damn, that's crazy, that's boss move. That's a studio, mr Amazing, but buying another gaming company Damn, that's crazy, that's boss move. That's gangster move, man, mr Amazing. We're also going to talk about yo yo PlayStation 4 owners having transferred over to PS5. They still got a large amount of people playing on the PS4. Okay, well, it makes sense. We're also going to talk about Batista's new movie. You know Batista the Wrestler yes, the Wrestler, slash actor.

Speaker 1:

He has a new movie coming out the Keller game.

Speaker 2:

Is he still freaking wrestling?

Speaker 1:

Nah, he hasn't wrestled in a while.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I was about to say Wow.

Speaker 1:

Okay, he hasn't wrestled in a while, but we're going to tell you a show. Talk about Mr Amazing. We're going to talk about the PS4, and how come there's so many users still on PS4. Mr Amazing, you have anything to say about this. Before I go into it, there's a lot of things to say about this Go, mr Amazing, hit it, hit the people with it.

Speaker 2:

I mean there's a lot of things you can say. I mean the PS4, the shelf run we start with that. It might be the longest running active system, I think, after PS2. Right, it might have surpassed the PS2 by now, right it's an active running system yeah. I think PS2 stopped was it how many years?

Speaker 1:

2012 or 2011?

Speaker 2:

2012, 2011, ps2 came out. No, no, no. I forgot what no, ps2, I know at least had a 10 year run. I know that for sure, I think a 10 year run.

Speaker 1:

Sorry, that's a PS3 with Andrew running.

Speaker 2:

I can't, honestly, I can't even tell the truth okay, we have to look that one up, but that's definitely a factor is that the PS4 has a long run. Another, more important thing is that it's sold over. It has 118 million active users. Man, that's a lot of people.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no. The whole network. The PSN network has over 100 million, over 118 million After users. Yeah, but half of them Are on PS4 and haven't transferred Over to your PS5.

Speaker 2:

Because they're still Making games For the PS4.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

They're still making games For the PS4. They ain't trying, they ain't trying To let go of that money.

Speaker 1:

Remember, the pandemic slowed it down for the new systems Chip shortage, so a lot of things was involved in that. So, yeah, there'll still be players on it and plus you got to look at it this way God of War, ragnarok Biggest game was on PS4 as well. Gran Turismo. The last one.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, they still made Horizon Dawn, right, that was also.

Speaker 1:

I believe so too.

Speaker 2:

What game recently came out that was not on the PS4?

Speaker 1:

Spider-Man.

Speaker 2:

Spider-Man. That's probably what people are going to start.

Speaker 1:

Miles Morales was on PS4. Yeah, call of Duty's still making games on PS4. It's the next one. It's the next one. It's going to be on PS4 and the you.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying but my thing is, Sony has to make that jump.

Speaker 1:

But you understand also, players are still playing with the number one games. We'll see multiplayer games Fortnite you don't need to go play PS5 or Xbox X, you know, because it's not a graphical game.

Speaker 2:

We're like yo the graphics are bad.

Speaker 1:

Roblox, you can still play there Minecraft.

Speaker 2:

You can still play on there. Madden, madden, true.

Speaker 1:

Well, that's a sports game, so you should be able to play that on all consoles After a while. After a while, you know you need to let it go. You know what I'm saying. And it's still making games for the PS4 that might go to not might, sorry will be produced in 2025. That's true too, so why the hell gonna make that cross-dress for 500 bucks.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but aren't studios stating that, like, because of this, they can't reach full potential of their games, like to show the full graphical potential of their games because they have to scale out their games. So for the last gen games and system, yeah, pardon me.

Speaker 1:

I think something like I think I was. We talked about it on the last podcast about NCAA, the new game coming, the football game. They were saying that the Madden game can't look as good because they're still making Madden for 2024.

Speaker 2:

But the constantly exclusive next gen, only next gen, only for the PS and Xbox, right? Yes, oh nice, I gotta see this game.

Speaker 1:

I'm curious they're saying that the Madden is still gonna be on PS4 man gotta stop, man gotta stop they want a whole lot of time, money, bro, and plus also the weakness of the Xbox sales. That's true too. But my thing, man, I gotta stop, man, I gotta stop. They want to hold their money, bro, and plus also the weakness of the Xbox sales. That's true too.

Speaker 2:

But my thing is at this point I mean, sony, you've made your money. I think you gotta force me to get this PS5 gen now, don't you feel so? Especially the fact that you have your Slim. You got a supposedly pro coming out. You got all this, I think. If not when?

Speaker 1:

I think you have to. It'll probably start to end for the first part, it's probably we'll say mid-2025. I think now, I think you got to do it now. It ain't happening now.

Speaker 2:

You're already four years in right.

Speaker 1:

When it came out 2020?, I believe so You're four years in, I believe so.

Speaker 2:

You have to. I think it's now. I don't think any next PlayStation 5 exclusive Should be For PS4 anymore. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

I said it.

Speaker 2:

A lot of people Not gonna like my take A lot of people Not gonna like this take, but I don't think Any next exclusive Should be for PS4, unless it's like it's a retro. Actually, not even. Nah, I'm not gonna go back. Nope, I think that's it.

Speaker 1:

It's over, man you know a funny tidbit to point out. Yeah, ps3 still seen of the 2.3 million after users wow on the PSN as an early as of early 2023, that was the last time it was taken, it's probably lower.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, of course, but still.

Speaker 1:

They're still on it, bro. They're still on it. Why are people?

Speaker 2:

playing on that, though that's what I want to know, Like what's the high?

Speaker 1:

game I mean you could play. There's a lot of games you can still play on it. I want to know what it would be, I don't know, a multiplayer game. Probably Is it Warhammer.

Speaker 2:

Okay. I forgot the name of the game.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, it's Warhammer, whatever that game, multiplayer game. There's probably other games. They probably still on.

Speaker 2:

Okay, fair. Well, my question for you now Go ahead, are you?

Speaker 1:

playing PS4 games still. I still have my PS4 games. I still have a bunch of PS4 games. I still play it. I still got PS3, man, so there's still games I still play. Is that my primary system? Not at this time, but I do still play games on PS4. It's still a good system system.

Speaker 2:

So my question to you is is this hurting the PS5? Though, yes, it is, so do you think the sales that Sonya is complaining about as of recent, last few months last quarter, I would say is because of this?

Speaker 1:

the sales are still doing well. It's on pace or maybe beyond the sales of the PS4 at a certain time period, but it could be better. But people still don't want to pay the fire, might not want to pay the fire at all.

Speaker 2:

Wasn't Sony just complaining about sales? How they dropped? Was Sony at one point firing people?

Speaker 1:

No, they tore it off. They tore it off and closed a couple studios.

Speaker 2:

Was it At one point Firing people? No, you're talking Laying off, laying off Excuse me, laying off and got closed.

Speaker 1:

But that's worldwide, across the gaming industry, gotcha. So I'm not surprised by that. But the thing With I mean that's another topic. Sometimes you do need To make Games that does not Cost that much. I can't figure out that's what you're saying. I mean, like a Ratchet and Clank. Right now the last Ratchet and Clank game cost $300 million.

Speaker 2:

Okay, no, you're right.

Speaker 1:

Probably $100 million, $100 million plus, but not $300 million. No, you're right, I see what you're saying and also, it's about the gamers as well wanting to invest in games like and clank instead of trying to look for these big Gears of War or God of War games Fair. So you have anything to say about this, Mr May. Anything else you want to express?

Speaker 2:

Well, like I said, I have an unpopular take where I'm all for PS5 exclusives.

Speaker 1:

You all for kicking PS4 to the curb and get the new chick. Yeah, the new hot chick. Why?

Speaker 2:

is Madden not looking better than what was it NCAA?

Speaker 1:

Mr Mazin, let's keep it real. We're both Madden players. Of course you gotta say that we both want to hear it.

Speaker 2:

But my thing is it's the only exclusive football game you got, which is true. That should be at it's peak. Or, if you're going to, because Mazda 1 and 2 is a game, it should be way scaled more than the PS4. I'm sorry, with this and that kind of money, you got to make two versions. It is what it is. Make two versions.

Speaker 1:

Mr Mazin. Mr Mazin's been a hot fire.

Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, because usually I'm for the people I'm not. I'm always about the money. I usually am too, but I feel like this situation I'm not getting my money's worth.

Speaker 1:

I understand what you're saying. I understand what you're saying, but I believe that, yes, it's about the money, but I also agree with what you're saying, that it does need to stop and move on to the next generation.

Speaker 2:

That's it long time in technology.

Speaker 1:

That's a long time in technology. All right, mr Mays, I don't mean to cut you off, but we're going to the next topic. Let's go. Yo, yo Don't. What did I say? Don't call it a comeback, let's call it a takeover, mr Mays.

Speaker 2:

What's Wow? Let's hear a clap. Let's hear a clap, mr Mason, he took, he took way, way, way, way way.

Speaker 1:

Way, according to. According to Atari Chairman CEO, mr Wayne, he said this this was a rare opportunity To Unite Former rivals. Mr Mason, before the Atari, not Atari, sorry. Before Nintendo Sega, before Xbox Sony, it was Atari Nintendo. Yeah, this is like, I'm sorry. Atari and Clickavision.

Speaker 2:

Hold on, that's not.

Speaker 1:

Clickavision, that's Intellivision.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is like Nintendo buying Sega, sony buying Xbox.

Speaker 1:

This is exactly what it is the competition cause.

Speaker 2:

The competition, yeah, cause those were each other's rivals at the time, but this is a 45 year old. By even wanting that, give it a round 45 year old beef. Well, not beef, I would've said.

Speaker 1:

Atari whipped their ass, yeah. Atari took over but I mean they also had ColecoVision during that time period. Yes, they did yes. I mean that would look at the third console. We looked at them with Xbox, why Well?

Speaker 2:

because they don't make games Like is it just a?

Speaker 1:

nostalgic. I look at it this way Intellivision has like 200 games. I guess you could bring it to Atari, I guess, and they always use that IP to sell, get new games.

Speaker 2:

that's true, cause didn't? Didn't you get the Atari system? Hell, no, you didn't get it. I thought you got it, nah, man.

Speaker 1:

I bought the Atari 50th anniversary. Oh, that's what I'm thinking. Yeah, I played it twice, man.

Speaker 2:

I returned I got, I got.

Speaker 1:

I didn't say I returned it, I traded for still credit oh, you did, I didn't even know that I was not. I wasn't filming.

Speaker 2:

I didn't even know that. Oh, wow, okay, so well, you know what?

Speaker 1:

for those who collectors, for those, this brings back your childhood memories yeah, people, people say, mr Mike Sandler, what the freak you talking about? Who was in television? If I say who's, I mean people still probably. Atari still has a name brand. They still sell T-shirts for Atari. They still sell the consoles, the mini consoles. I heard a rumor that the Atari Million Console actually outsold the PlayStation Classic. I didn't know that.

Speaker 1:

And I think maybe Nintendo Classic. When Nintendo Classic came out it was so limited that you know what I'm saying. People bought it up and reselling it for more than what it's worth the retail price.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know that.

Speaker 1:

And it's amazing, guess who has both of them.

Speaker 2:

You do yes.

Speaker 1:

I have the Super Mini and the classic NES Mini.

Speaker 2:

You're still in their box or you opened them.

Speaker 1:

I opened them. I'm opening them. Oh yeah, I opened them. I played it. I didn't get a chance to play it, so when I move, hopefully didn't get a chance to play it, so when I move, hopefully I'll get a chance to play more opportunity to play it. But anytime you want to play, let's do this let's go and also I got the TurboGrafx-16, one of the number one, the number one system of all time. No, sorry, I'm lying about that.

Speaker 2:

I'm lying about that. Outside of bunkers I wasn't a big fan. I I'm sorry, I'm sorry about that.

Speaker 1:

That's one of my favorite systems. Anyway, mr Baseman, back to the topic. But Atari, buying this, they get the IP, they get the Intellivision brand name. So, like I said, you can lose the IP to make movies, you can lose the IP to create new games.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's pretty cool I mean, I think it's just more of an Nostalgic thing, to be honest with you. I think, yay, we can run Intelligent games on now, on Atari, and then you know it's Having two of the old Classic systems on one. Now, that's how I look at it, to be honest with you, I mean they could always create A Kaban system that plays. Atari yeah, downloadable games on there, I keep saying Collegavision, intellivision games. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, like I said, they can lose their OIPs, create new games For new fans, and you know, digital or physical.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, it's a cool. It's a cool concept.

Speaker 1:

And Mr May is like. Mr May is like this is a Should we care topic. Mr May replies I don't care at all.

Speaker 2:

You think I care it's not for me, but I do think the idea of having that it's pretty cool actually, cause how cool would it be For you to be at a, let's say, more recent memory Nintendo, having all the Sega games On the Nintendo and having all the Nintendo games on the Nintendo. So that's pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

But I think people can remember the Sega games. They go Forgotten Worlds. People can remember the Sega games Ultra Beasts, I think.

Speaker 2:

Intellivision. People like I can't Like. I said that's 40 something years ago. I can't remember one.

Speaker 1:

Intellivision game that people talking about, even the collectors, even collectives, I don't see. I've been to gaming conventions, you've been to gaming conventions. I have yet to see somebody. Yo, yo, give me that ColecoVision right there. I mean that ColecoVision. So I keep saying Intellivision, intellivision, or, matter of fact, even the ColecoVision. Damn it, because I want to throw a Bionic Tard. I can't, man, I can't go back. The only game I can play is probably Pong ah, okay, that's pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

I'll throw up Garden of Arcade on one of my little Pong desk game, but nah, not for you. Nah, I'm good, I'm good, fair, I mean sorry, good luck with it. Hope we get big things with it, but we'll see, mr Amazing maybe they got something that impresses us both Okay.

Speaker 1:

Mr Amazing IGN Big Ballers Shot Callers. Mr Amazing what they doing. They bought the Gaming Network family. They did. Yes, they did. Mr Amazing, they bought Suns Publications. Mr Amazing Game Industry bitch, they bought such publications. Mr Amazing Game industry bitch. Europe gamer Yo. Mr Amazing V-G-2-20. Folks said V-G-24-7,. Mr Amazing Dice Breakers. Mr Amazing, outside of Xbox Digital Foundry Surprisingly bought from them. Oh man, pure Xbox Push Square. Oh time, pure Xbox Push Square. Estelle Time Extension. Mr Amazing what the hell is going on. Wow, they also bought the Game of Traffic show.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't want to be on that eight-day bench. That's right there. Excuse me, yo, they're trying to get us to, but we said hell no, independent baby. Well, when Michael was lying, you know what I'm saying, Mr Amazing. What is IG?

Speaker 2:

I think I kind of read it. You know I didn't read too much into this, but I did see something quick on that. Didn't they turn around and lay off several employees of the? Of course, mr.

Speaker 1:

Amazing. We know what you do when you do this. When you're McDonald's and Burger King immersion, they're laying people off, mr.

Speaker 2:

M, but I think it was more when the people that they love were more focused on the editorial aspects of the things. I did hear about this actually.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean IGN. What do you think they're doing? Do you think they're just killing the competition off by doing this? Let's buy you, then destroy you Sounds like an Xbox to me. Then after you destroy, no, first let's lay people off, then destroy you. True.

Speaker 2:

Because I know digital I ain't got money like that. I didn't realize that.

Speaker 1:

I mean IGN. I forgot who's the owner of it. We probably. I can't remember off the top of my head, but don't you think this time needs creativity when you're under one branch, and how the hell the IGN owners, the IGN and this gaming network be able to actually monitor them? Make sure one's not falling over the other that's true.

Speaker 2:

that's what was a big problem when you start acquiring companies hey, do what Sony did, get two CEOs oh, you have to figure it out. I mean, I'm disappointed. Companies hey, do what Sony did, get two CEOs oh you got to figure it out.

Speaker 1:

I just I mean I'm disappointed. I mean first I'm disappointed because I just think is this not worth it, not that worth it? I think creative team might be interfered with Probably.

Speaker 2:

Because you're all under one branch. Now, under one branch, competition is good sometimes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, competition is good, and I just think that IGN, which was the main flavor for several years, yeah, but now, with Digital Foundry, was there Push, square, pure Xbox? Everybody's been bringing a different flavor, that's true.

Speaker 2:

That's true.

Speaker 1:

And when you got IGN Beyond, which is an Xbox podcast, that's true. And when you got IGN Beyond, which is an Xbox podcast, I mean placed in the podcast.

Speaker 2:

What you do with Square, that's a good question.

Speaker 1:

I mean pure Xbox. They have an Xbox pack what you gonna do with that? They have an Xbox podcast what you gonna do with that?

Speaker 2:

That's a good question, man. I guess we'll find out.

Speaker 1:

I mean you're a gamer. I mean Europe game IGN, what's you know they gonna work. They gonna merge them into each other. I never heard of Rock Paper Shotgun. I never heard of them. I'm not familiar as well probably closing them. I don't know. I don't know, dicebreaker never heard of them either. I mean, one day I'll look like this to see what they're about. But it's just like I said, it might stymie creativity and it will be laid off. Let's just keep it 100.

Speaker 2:

It comes with the territory, like you stated.

Speaker 1:

But, mr Mays, anything else you want to say about this?

Speaker 2:

No, but this is something we should definitely monitor as we time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're trying to get us, like Mr Mays said, they're trying to get us. But, like Mr Mays said, they're trying to guess. But yo, we were the form For the okie dokie.

Speaker 2:

If you guys see Gary Trafford, you see the IGN logo. You already know.

Speaker 1:

We don't sell out, mr Mays. Let's talk about Assassin's Creed that came out. That look good. It looks very well. But, mr Mays, you're more of Assassin's Creed person Than I am. You rather go into it.

Speaker 2:

We can go. I'll be honest with you. I fell in love with Assassin's Creed, to be honest with you, but this one's gonna get me back into it because I love anything that has to do with feudal Japan and that sucked me in and the fact that you can play. Well, I know this is very controversial with a lot of people and the controversy is bull Because bull is PS people talking.

Speaker 1:

Go ahead, tell me you can play with it as an African-American, but it's actually based on a real person. I forgot the guy's name, sorry yeah, and he also had a Netflix animated series reference to his character. Exactly. But, as people know, Sasuke is not always fully accurate.

Speaker 2:

They do take their personal opinion and direction to these characters.

Speaker 2:

Creativity exactly. You expand, you want to reach a broad aspects of it. Just in general, in life man, does it really matter when people got mad at Game of Thrones because they had a black person in there? You're talking about something fictional. Does it really matter? People get upset over a lot of stuff, though. What was the movie Marvel character? People got mad over what we spoke about on the show a couple years ago because he was African American. I can't remember. I can't remember what it was.

Speaker 2:

I can't remember what it was, but it doesn't really matter purple, green, black, white, orange, it's fictional, it doesn't really matter.

Speaker 1:

I think we've. I think we're at least talking about the Disney character. We're talking about the little mermaid well that.

Speaker 2:

That too. That was more recent, but there's something more prior to that, but that comes more into recent memory. Yes, that as well, too.

Speaker 1:

But nobody had beef. About Iron Fist being a white character.

Speaker 2:

Exactly exactly. We see it all the time Even Miles Morales. At one point they was like, oh, you need to have, but Miles Morales is a good character, that's number one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and it's not like they killed. I mean, they did kill Peter Parker in that universe and he came right back. Yes, but Miles Morales is a great, perfect, a great example of you. Have a black slash Latino character. Yes, he is Spider-Man, but different version of Spider-Man Exactly, and he shows a different aspect of Spider-Man Exactly.

Speaker 2:

Spider-Man Exactly and people love it. People love it. The movies did well, the game did extraordinary.

Speaker 1:

People love it. And you also got Gwen, who's also a female Spider-Man.

Speaker 2:

Exactly so. It's just change and people are not ready for change sometimes.

Speaker 1:

I mean, like I said, it doesn't bother me because, my first thought.

Speaker 1:

I know people are going to say something about it, regardless, yeah, why they got this, why there's too many women exactly you know what I'm saying. So people need to focus on the content, exactly I understand. People say diversity. If you just do diversity just to put somebody in there, just to put them in, it's not gonna work out. If you have a character, you put it in and he's black and he's a good character and it spans the broadness of people's eyesight of African Americans or Latinos, indians, asians, whatever. Yeah, this brand.

Speaker 2:

I'm all for it.

Speaker 1:

I'm all for it to be honest with you because there's a thousand games where the main character is white yeah, not with you, I'm all for it. And even like the controversy with the with women characters. What's the Stella Blade half naked? Oh yeah. I think IGN was talking about the guy he never seen, he never been with a girl before, whatever you know his wife's part of the team. Okay, come on, come on, let's just keep 100 like I said everybody say this is where scanning off.

Speaker 1:

Come on, lord Crawford was wearing Daisy Duke jeans for how many years?

Speaker 2:

David.

Speaker 1:

Jules Butt-colored jeans for how many? Years. Yeah, that is true, Come on get over it.

Speaker 2:

Get over it, Even her 3D version. So get over it.

Speaker 1:

It is at this point let's get over it.

Speaker 2:

To the game itself, though, man, I look forward to this one because, if anyone knows me, listen to the show, I love anything that has to do with feudal Japan, and this is one Assassin's Creed that people were crying for like this needs to be the next Assassin's Creed. This needs to be Assassin's Creed, and after almost what? 10, 15, probably more than that, actually they finally got it. They finally did it, and it's coming on at the perfect time, because this year, what big game we have was Rise of Shonen, you know, and then now we have this one, and we have rumors of Gozo Shimo 2 coming out Rise of Shonen, you know, and then now we have this one, and we have rumors of Ghost of Tsushima 2 coming out. So I think it all falls in par with this, with Assassin's Creed dropping this. So this is, you know. This is a perfect time, and we're getting this one in November, right? I believe so.

Speaker 1:

November. But I'm going more controversial. I don't give a damn. This is the Game of Traffic show. He does do it. Yeah, yeah, it's amazing Also talking about, they're going to also do romantic relations there and also relations can be girl, girl, probably, male, male. Okay, some people are upset about that.

Speaker 2:

In the game. In the game, I didn't know that. I don't know how far.

Speaker 1:

I don't know how far it's going to go.

Speaker 2:

I don't know the main characters you saw A lot of people were not happy.

Speaker 1:

I just didn't like the character, that Maggie character, I just didn't like her.

Speaker 2:

I mean because it killed Joe, Not in general, but just about, yeah, some people.

Speaker 1:

I just bet it could kill Joe man. It killed Joe man, that's what. I'm mad about I didn't care about what she was. Yeah, I mean, she looked like a lot, she was cock-deezer. What kind of waste it got, you know in that time period, you know. But she's working out, but you know what I'm saying. But people get upset and the two characters might have some flirtatious, you know, going on yeah but, like I said, I don't really care about that cause nobody said that in Master Fang that's true alright, so stop it.

Speaker 2:

Stop it, play the game, have some damn fun yeah, that's what it's about Play the game, get the experience.

Speaker 1:

All right, Mr Mason, let's go to the trail of the week. Mr Mason, my man. Batista is back baby, and he's out wearing a bunch of makeup and he's not alone. He's still there. He's still there. He's a big, I don't know. So he has a big ass house.

Speaker 2:

Excuse my language, I believe that the guy's wrestling for years.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he has a big house. All right, mr Mason, let's kick off this trailer. The Killer Game let's check it out. Let's go. How did you end up here Work?

Speaker 2:

What do you do? Retirement planning?

Speaker 1:

You should smile more often. I suit you. There's only two ways out of the killer's game, joseph, you walk away clean or you go out on your back, joe, are you okay? I'm afraid I've got some bad news, Joe.

Speaker 2:

It's terminal. How long do I have Best case? Three months. I don't want Macy to see me project out what brings you to my door.

Speaker 1:

I need a contract executed. Who do you want retired Me? I've thought about doing this for years. You killed my father. This way, I kill you and get paid Two mil for Joe Flood. Daddy's gotta go to work, gets me wet.

Speaker 2:

Whatever turns you on.

Speaker 1:

Oh, Flood. Thank God there's been a mistake. They switched your scan with another patient. You're not gonna die, but you might wanna get your eyes checked. I'm gonna. I'm canceling the contract. Do you think this show has anything? I'm canceling the contract. You think this trade is anything?

Speaker 2:

I'm coming in every hit on Europe. You hear me, you know what. You tell them to pack light Because they won't fucking be staying long.

Speaker 1:

What is going on? Joe Daisy, I'm a hitman.

Speaker 2:

What. You kill people. That's you're an assassin, is you? Did he just hit me with a motorcycle? This is disrespectful.

Speaker 1:

Do you think I killed him? I hope so.

Speaker 2:

Ain't no money worth this shit.

Speaker 1:

Don't hate the play-offs, hate the game I got you. Until I die, I'm going to kill the fucking doctor too. Have you had your eyes checked, mr Amazing the killer is game. Mr Amazing, the killer is game. Mr Amazing, what do you think about it? I know you mentioned throughout the trailer. It's very John.

Speaker 2:

Wick-ish the makers of it. So that's why I feel that way.

Speaker 1:

But he's looking like yo they did a good job with his hair.

Speaker 2:

He did, he did.

Speaker 1:

So basically, if you heard the trailer, he thought he did so. Basically, if you heard the trailer, he thought he was dying some ways. He asked if a contract hit people, he must have got a thrill. Get a thrill, somebody chasing trying to kill him that made I find it weird. Yeah, I find that weird. So then he found out um no, he's not dying. What he got?

Speaker 2:

cataracts, I don't understand he has nothing. His scans got switched, yeah, but he said check your eyes out. Oh, he's making fun of him what's making fun?

Speaker 1:

no, he told Batista to check his eyes out what he got cataracts. Come on, come on.

Speaker 2:

No, he tried to say like hey, you need to read your your diagnosis better. But it wasn't him. He was being told that.

Speaker 1:

I think that's what it was. Nah, I think Probably someone's eye Instead of the guy Mixed up, but I mean action looks.

Speaker 2:

Pretty interesting it does it does I like it Because I'm a big fan Of Terry Crews and he's in it, so I think Terry Crews Always brings a comedic Aspect to a show, which I like about him an actor.

Speaker 1:

I'm a big fan of hers. I'm not familiar with her, but she looks pretty cool in that, yeah, so I'm a very big fan of hers, not because I think she's cute yeah, that's also true, but that's also true too. Two things can be true. Two things can be true once. That's true, yes, but, mr Mason, the big question people want to know. I like this trailer Doesn't hurt for me. I'm going to green light it. I'm going to yellow light this because the premise makes some kind of common sense. Don't make no sense.

Speaker 2:

And I actually understand I was going to yellow, but I think Terry Crews saved it from being a yellow for me. I don't know. Terry Crews saved it from being a yellow. I'm going to green it.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to green it. Sorry enough for me, no, no, but just I like him, just be cautious. And I was. One day we got to look back at all the films and TV shows with green light and yellow light and red light, costume. Like I mentioned before, a couple of films with green light, woo-hoo. The biggest one was was Doodle. Some of them were Doodle.

Speaker 2:

No, no, but ended up being the biggest hit was the Tom Cruise one. What Not Mission Impossible? No, not Mission Impossible. The pilot one oh, you thought it was too late. Yeah, we thought it was too late, but that one, wow, that went one. I was wrong, I can admit that I was. I was wrong on that one, what was it again?

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, I'm going blank Top Gun, top Gun yeah.

Speaker 2:

Top Gun 2.

Speaker 1:

I was like man get out of here.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I said the same thing too. I was like it's another Dumber and Dumber. We're out of time, yeah.

Speaker 1:

He said no Wait, was I wrong? Yep, both were wrong, Riding to the danger zone.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that one always stands out to me because I really think that was going to do good. I was right with that one All right, so we split on it.

Speaker 1:

Mr Amazing gives the green light. I give it to y'all. Didn't give a day for a lease Coming soon. I think it was coming soon. Yes, it's coming soon. All right, mr Amazing, let's go to our. Should we care? Topic of the week. Mr Amazing, mr Mazin Woo, some people got big mouths and need to keep it shut. Mr Mazin, oh, embrace the group Big time boss. Mr Lars, he said something crazy, crazy, mr Mazin. He went to IGN IG I'm about to say Game of Industry, biz, I would say IGN, but IGN owns them now.

Speaker 1:

So I'm about to say IGN, so he mentioned in an article to them that Game of Prize is so good, pass $70,. Mr Mazin, I'm talking about a greedy businessman. No, he stated, I'm not saying you can't increase the price. He told the site, but the reality is no one has tried it. If you create an enormous role-playing game, what game would increase the price? Only thing I can think of is DLC.

Speaker 2:

No, but I'm saying he said no one has tried it, but they have already. They have recently. Oh yeah, they recently. 70 bucks. 70 bucks. I don't know what he's talking about.

Speaker 1:

I understand what you're saying. I get what you're saying, but I think he's talking about. President Inouye was trying to go. What are you saying makes sense too. We have Just recently it gave us $69.99.

Speaker 2:

crazy.

Speaker 1:

Yo, he's talking about $80 game.

Speaker 2:

What game that's out there? Homeboy's talking about.

Speaker 1:

Let me tell you Homeboy's talking about if you create an enormous role-playing game, for example for 100 to 150 hours, so in a very well-polished, unique experience, the consumers will pay more money for it. I totally disagree. I totally disagree. Not with games. Not with games like Minecraft still out for you. You don't need to pay that money. Not what games like Fortnite out? Yes, you still get your money with the Michael Tran actions yeah, but that's not going to happen. I mean, I could see certain games might get away with it, but even me and you I'm not paying that.

Speaker 1:

What's the rise and roll in the 70 bucks? Yeah, no, it I'm not paying that. What's the rise and roll is 70 bucks? No, it's 70 bucks and it's like 70 hours. You think I'm paying 100 bucks for it. I'm not paying 100 bucks for it.

Speaker 2:

I'll be like nah, that's not a game I'm paying. 100 bucks there are, even though I'm against it, but if I was to pay 80 to 90 dollars for a game, it's probably less than 5. Oh, oh yeah, less than five. Yeah, and one of them is A fighting game Street Fighter, that's for sure, but Street Fighter I'm not paying $100 For Odessa.

Speaker 1:

I'm a fanatic, so I would. The only reason you Play that much, I mean I'm not gonna. I paid $100 For Mortal Kombat.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you got but for a season pass, yeah, so that's understandable. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I didn't pay that for Street Fighter, but I'm going to pay that, I'm going to buy it. It made no sense because I was going to buy one character, like you said, buy the whole thing. Yeah, buy the pass, it's like 20 bucks for the pass Buy the whole thing.

Speaker 2:

My thing is if you want to go to that price route, you have to give me more than just a game and that game?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, cause, that means you screwed up, they screwed up. Oh, that's for 100 bucks. Just sold 100 bucks For this game. 85 dollars, 90 dollars and an absolute cup Suck. No, let's give you A purple example. Uh, what is it? What's that?

Speaker 2:

Cyberpunk.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no. We're not gonna Cyberpunk, we're gonna say Um, what's that? Uh, wb, okay, suicide Squad.

Speaker 1:

Suicide Squad okay 200 billion dollar flop. Yeah, 200 million dollar flop, that's true. That's true. Once you are making games that you actually are good and get people engaged in, that's true. Yeah, and we all think all the argument, and we said this, I said this probably a year and a half ago people can. These studios, game publishers, cannot worry about making these 300, 300 million dollar games. They need mid-tier games. Yeah, yes, you gotta have a god of war horizon come out, but yo, if you have two, two middle games that come between those games, great, great, they're a great experience. Make it happen. Yeah, I agree with you on that one.

Speaker 1:

I totally agree with you on that one. You can have three or four AAA games come out For me. Make a good two AA game.

Speaker 2:

I agree, and I think now with the whole live transaction stuff, you don't need to do that anymore. You can make your money off of that, even though I'm not a fan of it. But at least with that you can justify hey, you just got this and this and it's continuous. At least you can justify where I'm going to pay $90 for a game where I'm just like, okay, what if it sucks you know.

Speaker 1:

At least with that I can justify it. So not at all about this, I'm not at all for that.

Speaker 2:

I'm not going to entertain him.

Speaker 1:

Yo, we don't kid, not at all, we both agree.

Speaker 2:

Damn it, I'm not entertaining him.

Speaker 1:

Get out of here. You know what? We don't got a wax to the week. You the wax to the week, son. We don't got one. No, I have one, we don't got one.

Speaker 2:

I have one before, but end of story.

Speaker 1:

Mr Amazing, but Mr Amazing, let's go to Shower of the Week. Mr Amazing, but Mr Amazing, you might, it might have a different opinion of the Shower of the Week. Playstation VR 2, finally, is coming to PC with the adapter.

Speaker 1:

Mr Amazing, on August 7th. Pc players, don't get pumped yet, cause, still, the best way to play the PS2 VR is on what, mr Amazing? Psn Network, the PS5. Oh, according to the PS blog, mr Amazing VR 2 was designed for the ground up, specifically for the PlayStation 5. So you know those key features will be missing if you play on PC, like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive trigger, haptic trigger feedback and other Roman features not available on the PC version. Wow, but you will get 4K, 4k, mr, but you will get 4K, 4k, mr Amazing. You also get 110 degree field of view Figure touch detection. You get some estimated 3D audio supported games. So this is what you get, mr Amazing. This is our shout out week. What do you think? You still think it's our-out of the week? Yeah, I mean, I guess. I guess I mean you still get to play Half-Life, alex.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Remember I was saying this was probably one of the best VR games Of the year.

Speaker 2:

Nah, I'm with that. I actually had another shout-out. If you don't mind me saying this, mr Mason, go spit the shout out. It was actually because for Will Smith with Bad Boys coming out, man, I gave him a damn.

Speaker 1:

Will Smith shout out.

Speaker 2:

No, I'm not giving him a shout out, because what for no?

Speaker 1:

because, look, will Smith, I'm giving him a shout out, hey. Will Smith's smacking brother, you're giving him a shout out. Hey, I can't hold that against him forever, in front of millions of people.

Speaker 2:

You know, Mr Amazing is not going to back you up. Yeah, listen to this though. Are you going to see Bad Boys 2? Bad Boys 3? No, that's 3, right? Bad Boys 4,?

Speaker 1:

Mr Amazing, shit got that I can't even keep up with you. Yeah, we'll go see it, yeah, you go son, I'm not going to slap my brother.

Speaker 2:

He's not my brother Not for bad boys before his accomplishment. I think he's probably one of the few or the only it could be over like a 14 movie span to have all his movies, even the ones that you thought suck, all hit over 100 mil opening weekend that they showed the other day, which is pretty impressive to be honest with you, which is in a different time era, which then, over all, we're streaming.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, and some of them you wouldn't think of You'd be, which then no problem with streaming. Yeah, exactly, and some of you would think of oh wow, that hit 100 million for the weekend.

Speaker 1:

Wild Wild West probably made 100 million for straight garbage. Yeah, I didn't like that one either, but it was like a 14 movie before it finished.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, that's funny. I still don't know the ending. Yeah, I mean it's impressive man. I was going to say and the thing is that I was looking at the list real quick, right, I'm like damn, will Smith had some hits. Go ahead, mr Mason, to name some of his movies. We could start with the big one, which we all know is Independence Day. Then you got Aladdin, which is a big one, I wouldn't. Suicide Squad, that Men in Black, whichever one you want, hancock that also which was crap.

Speaker 2:

You got I Am A Legend, which is not bad. You know you got different men in black because you know I was in several of them. Bad Boy, same thing. Several of them. Hitch I like Hitch, I like Hitch. Hitch was one of them. Shark Tale I Robot, I Robot. I have that. The Pursuit of Happiness, which is pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

I like that it's good, but I'm no need to watch it again like, like you just said wow, wow west I didn't. We say it's a good movie, but it hit the mark, right.

Speaker 2:

I mean, those are just the name of some of them, be honest with you. But I gotta give him a shout out for that man, that that that's. That's a hard list to be on and he's on there. So I'm, I'm gonna, I'm gonna recognize his accomplishment for that one, because I don't even know if denzel did that. Be honest with you. He probably did, denzel probably did, but I don't know. I don't think so.

Speaker 1:

You don't think so, because the movies he played Doesn't, you know 100 million dollars. You understand Suicide Squad Combo movie. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? I still think His movie Um Damn, I can't remember the name. What's better Than I'm a legend Whose?

Speaker 2:

movie Denzel.

Speaker 1:

Denzel. I forgot the name of the movie.

Speaker 2:

I can't remember the title. You talking about Train Day no.

Speaker 1:

It's a movie. I forgot the name of the movie, but I think it's better than I'm a legend.

Speaker 2:

I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I wonder what Same kind of theory, but I forgot the name of it. Okay. The book of Eli the.

Speaker 2:

Eli. Oh, the book of Eli I never saw that.

Speaker 1:

actually, I think that's better than I'm a legend. I never saw the book of Eli.

Speaker 2:

I always want to see. I'm trying to think real quick. Denzel never did Marvel or anything like that, right? No, never, okay, I was just wondering Because for a man to spend that kind of career to never do a Marvel, that's pretty impressive A lot of people don't something years. I would say yeah, so, so the fact that he never jumped on that bridge is like wow, that's pretty impressive. I'm Denzel, all right.

Speaker 1:

You don't need to.

Speaker 2:

King Kong got nothing on me. He was right.

Speaker 1:

He was right. All right, mr Amazing. Yo, anything else you want to talk about, you know we got to talk about the next show we have to talk about. I look forward to that.
