Speaker 2Yeah, the 10 of the Direct showcase man or show. I yeah the Nintendo Direct Showcase man or show. I should say right.
Speaker 1No, you can say that's a showcase. They show mad games, Mr Amazing Mad games. And this is our one-topic show, and it's all about Nintendo Direct. Mr Amazing Yo. Let's start off with the big surprise at the end Metroid Prime 4 is coming out.
Speaker 2They've been teasing that game for a long time, so we finally got a release date for that. Well, not a release date. We got a 2025 window, but we got gameplay. That's what we all wanted to see, it looks amazing, it looks great, and I think it's probably going to be the last big game on the Switch, if you're going to see, until the new Switch comes out. So it's definitely a good one. I'm sure that has a lot of people's mouth open and wanting to play.
Speaker 1So, mr Amazing, yes, sir, Yo guess what Another Zelda game was announced. Yeah, the Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. But Mr Amazing guess, who starred?
Speaker 2in the show, the caveat. The caveat it's not Link. Link is not saving the world. This time it's actually the one that he always does, the saving of.
Speaker 1Oh, princess Zelda, yes.
Speaker 2Yes, so that's going to be pretty cool man.
Speaker 1That should be awesome.
Speaker 2I don't know I looked at it, it's all right, it's alright, it's alright. Yeah, me too. It's like Minecraft to me, because you're like learning skills and then you adapt them in order for you to continue the game line. So let's say, you learn how to make a table.
Speaker 1I was like alright.
Speaker 2Use pots to cover barriers and stuff like that.
Speaker 1I wasn't interested in that.
Speaker 2Me too, but we'll see, because Nintendo gets you like that, Like ah, and the game ends up being a big hit. So I never see Nintendo games, so but that still looks good. So I don't take anything away from it. But my personal favorite, because we haven't seen this combo in a long. I think about nine years, if I'm not mistaken. We haven in this comment a long time.
Speaker 1I think I know you're talking about nine years.
Speaker 2Mario and Luigi's brother ship man. And we have a release date for this game. Surprisingly this we get it for the holiday season. It's dropping November 7th of this year. We get to see the brothers back in action together.
Speaker 1Yeah, working together. It's a co-op game as well.
Speaker 2I believe.
Speaker 1so yes, I don't know I'll think about buying it. I'll buy it.
Speaker 2I'll buy it, man because the last Nintendo game I bought was Switch game. It surprised me how good it was. I kind of expect the same from this. To be honest with you, I had the same dynamics. I personally feel I think it's going to be a seller.
Speaker 1Also, Mr Amazing, Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D remake is coming to Switch in November. That looks good too, actually, and followed up by Dragon Quest I and II HD 2D coming the following year.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's not bad too, actually, but what about the one that they gave today? It got released today. Which one is?

Speaker 2Tauric and Metroid, zero Mission, all released today on the Collectors Pack on the what's it called the Wii, the Wii oh my God, I'm going blank. The Wii Store.

Speaker 1And again, I'm not a fan of it. The new Super Mario Party game.
Speaker 2Oh, I love that game, man. I can't stand the Mario Party game. What those are fun.
Speaker 1I have some classic memories built on that game, the dice.
Speaker 2Like, oh, what the freak happened? Yo, you got it. What you doing, man? Nah, that game looks good. It's probably one of the biggest ones I've seen too, because it has 110 mini-games. When I saw it I was like, yeah right, 110 mini-games.
Speaker 1There's a lot of new stuff in it that were added me. You know it's 20 players head-to-head online. Oh wow, wait, this actually get out of here. Yeah, 20 players head-to-head online, as released in october 17th this year.
Speaker 2Yes, so this is gonna be interesting. I think it's probably the best one because you get online play with this one, so this is gonna be big. So shout out to nintendo for that one and also mr bazin, let's go to yo.
Speaker 1Yo, yo, I'm gonna take it for a ride, didn't it dinner yo? Marvel vs Capcom yeah yo the. This is a collective this is Marvel vs. Capcom fighting collection, dish, arcade classes with a cool x-men, children of Adam, marvel superheroes. X-men vs Street Fighter, marvel, super Heroes vs Street Fighter, marvel vs Capcom. Clash of the Super Heroes, marvel vs Capcom 2, and the Punisher game.
Speaker 2That looks good, that's a nice lineup and that's going to come out later this year?
Speaker 1Yes, and it'll also come out for PS4 and, I'm not sure, ps5. I'm not sure, but no Xbox release date.
Speaker 2Were you intrigued by that Nintendo World Championship thing?
Speaker 1I, I think it was on in July, if I'm not mistaken. I saw it. I was like I'm not.
Speaker 2It's pretty much like you reliving your favorite NES games, but you're competing for records and stuff like that.
Speaker 1I don't know.
Speaker 2It's not for me, but I do see the nostalgic feeling and vibe behind it. I'm okay with it, but it's not for me though.
Speaker 1You got to dedicate mad time for that.
Speaker 2You really do, because you already got one life.

Speaker 2It's different but cool. You know what I found? That I thought was kind of cool, but I don't know if you know you'll like it the Looney Tunes wacky world of sports. I actually thought that was kind of cool.
Speaker 1actually I was like this looks fun. I looked at it.
Speaker 2I was like oh, don't even care. I was like it just looks fun. Looney Tunes. You get the Looney Tunes characters in the sports world Can't go wrong with that. Two shows. It's a show I love and I love sports.
Speaker 1But Speaking of sports, Nintendo Switch Sports added basketball as a free update for this summer, Mr Major.
Speaker 2Yeah, you get two versus two matchup, three-point shooting.
Speaker 1Yeah, so I can't wait. During the week, all the time, all the time.
Speaker 2Yeah, and I was just surprised basketball was included with that release. I was like, uh, no basketball.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, I was like no basketball, it's like you're not including tennis.
Speaker 2Nick, that's like the biggest attraction to it.
Speaker 1Oh, I think tennis was like no, it's in there. It's like why not include basketball as?

Upcoming Nintendo Switch Game Releases
Speaker 1Oh funny, A Sony game and a Nintendo showcase. Which one Horizon. Oh, the Lego Lego Horizon Adventures. Yeah, I saw that this is so funny.
Speaker 2I know it is weird you can't have all game, but you can have all Lego game.
Speaker 1Yeah, but Sony said that, according to the developers of the game. They said that this is the perfect game for the Switch. Of course, anything Lego is perfect for game for this way, yeah so the perfect game for them, and it and plus is that Xbox. So yeah, yeah, exactly yeah, so that's that's, that's cool did we?
Speaker 2did you mention the dog car or that was off. Every mention, I can't remember which, all donkong, yeah, donkong or duncan country hd that comes out, I believe january 2025, right? No, I thought it was gonna come out this year. I think it was january next of next year. Man, I haven't done a jerry 16 2025.
Speaker 1Well, now they're gonna get jam. Oh, this year january, buddy next year, oh, yeah, yeah, you're right, I think so. You're right, you're correct, you're correct, yeah, I rock that game.
Speaker 2but for the cool thing about this is you get you're gonna have 82, I believe, number. But the cool thing about this is you're going to have 82, I believe I'm going to say 82 missions to do and you're going to get some from the handheld version of it and it's HD. And another thing about HD they dropped Luigi's Mansion 2 HD.
Speaker 1So that was cool. And also, Mr Amazing, I don't know if you've heard of Fairy Tail, the anime that parts.
Speaker 2I saw that I'm not familiar.
Speaker 1I didn't see that they have a game coming out okay for this winter.
Speaker 2So the switch got a lot of games because it was going yeah, and I'm surprised because I thought the switch was at the end of its life, so to have really just come out pretty impressive.
Speaker 1Be honest with you yeah, so that's coming out there was one game like an indie game.
Speaker 2Maybe it's game, Maybe it's not, but it looked like an indie game to me but I was intrigued by it. It's called Mio, which stands for Memories in Orbit, oh you're talking about. Yeah, I actually like that one. I was like it's kind of cool.
Speaker 1I think I could play this game.
Speaker 2Also, mr, amazing, a game 2024. I've never played it, boy, yeah.
Speaker 1Hey, people are going to buy it and Among Us. I saw that yes coming out, so that's going to be interesting. I never played it. I don't find it intriguing, but you can play it. My daughter used to play that all the time.
Speaker 2I heard her friends, all her school age friends. Tyler won't play it too, my son, but they don't play it anymore.
Speaker 1Yeah, also, mr Amazing, the cat meow is making on there Stray.
Speaker 2Stray. That's the perfect Switch game to me. Yo, you can't get no more.
Speaker 1Switch than that. So the developers, they're making good money for that game.
Speaker 2Oh, they are Again. They probably spend any kind, not barely, but like they didn't spend that much money to make it.
Speaker 1We're not talking about a $100 million game.
Speaker 2That's not their budget.
Speaker 1And then so much attention to social media Playing with the grill cat yeah. So that was a big hit for some of the social media. Did you say a part two?
Speaker 2is coming out.
Speaker 1A part two is coming out. Of course. It was funny, this one Funko fusion gameplay.
Speaker 2I saw that I was watching the Margot game, I was like yo, Nintendo is not going to capitalize on anything. I was like, so you're's not going to capitalize on anything. I was like, so you're going to have a game based on Funko Pops.
Speaker 1I mean, yeah, you got the licensed characters, you do it. Why not, right? Like I said, we laughed at Roblox. We laughed at Minecraft. I did they're making millions of dollars. I did. I was like who the hell is going to buy this garbage? Yay, more, a lot more people than I would ever thought. Also, disney illustra uh, disney illustration mystery land yes, go dizzy, get that money. So that's coming out.
Speaker 1Actually, out to the update, out today, the free update oh cool another game I know you're interested hello kitty island adventure I saw that that comes out next year though. I mean, you got yoga, you wanna buy?
Speaker 2He bought the Barbie game. I bought the Barbie game.
Speaker 1I'm like a lie I've said in a show couple times I wouldn't have been that he's bigger man to me like. You know, bigger man to me.
Speaker 2You know I was curious. I was like why the hell is a Barbie game for? What's so good about it? What's my local blockbuster? And I found out and I returned it right back.
Speaker 1I thought you said you bought it.
Speaker 2No, no, no, I rented it from Blockbuster.
Speaker 1I thought you said you bought it. I rented it from.
Speaker 2Blockbuster. But yeah, I was going to tell the rest of you in a nutshell. I mean, it was a good one. It wasn't their best, it was a good one. But my thing is, you can't expect excellence from Nintendo.
Speaker 1No, it was good, it was good. So let's compare that to the Xbox showcase.
Speaker 2But I don't think you can, though they have mad games. No, I mean what I mean. Like the Xbox gave us a wow factor. This didn't give me a wow factor, it was a good games on there.
Speaker 1They have a lot of games coming out this winter early 2025.
Speaker 2But this is the difference, though. Right, the Nintendo REC has a lot of remakes. They're giving me Donkey Kong HD. They're giving me Luigi HD. They're giving me the Nintendo Fires Collection. These are all updated graphic games, just on the Switch. So you're giving me straight-up things that already came out.
Speaker 1You're giving me straight that's already came out, you're giving me things I've already seen and there's nothing wrong with it coming to Switch. But can you say the same thing about Xbox saying these are games we heard about and took us several years just to get a gameplay trailer?
Speaker 2Yeah, but remember these are still new content. These are games I've played, beat already Multiple times on multiple different systems.
Speaker 1Well, I don't know if it it's multiple times on both of us different systems. I like it's the main for you, but you know saying.
Speaker 2And I'm I'm gonna choose, but I'm actually gonna defend it to know to in the same time, like, how much can you show when you got a system that's not to come out and you're focusing on that, on your games? A beautiful was on that. There's that much you can show. So I'm gonna say the tenant this was a great show, but he doesn't have a wow factor. The beauty there was a wow factor on there, which is Metroid. I know I was also and the Zelda is a wall fact.
Speaker 1A lot of people. The wow factor was the Marvel collection, marvel Capcom collection.
Speaker 2It was cool but, like I said, I Play these already.
Comparing Nintendo and Microsoft Showcases
Speaker 1You think all the Marvel games and you enjoy playing those Marvel fighting games, capcom, marvel fighting games, that's true. So it's a wild fact that basically, the fighting community you know, you look online, they're like, they're very excited about you know what I'm saying? That Marvel Capcom collection coming out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, you're right. And for the value you get of games. For the value. But my thing is whoo, sony's in trouble. Why do you say that? Thanks, I was did the pair the showcase, and it's not showcase to stay to play compared to what Nintendo and Xbox is shown. Well, get there.
Speaker 2Microsoft is no one that tells them to I us though.
Speaker 1Well yeah, I think Microsoft and the Tether is neck-and-neck.

To be honest with you, you could say, okay, Microsoft's top three, let's say it's Doom. You could say that. You could say, next one is Perfect.
Speaker 1Dark. You could say that that's a game that's coming out in a couple of days now. No, but it's still got showcases. It doesn't matter.
Speaker 2We're not talking about what those presented to us at the show I can't even say gives a war Wasn't really. But that the name was thrown out there Does it matter? I guess a fable.
Speaker 1Does it matter? The showcase is not about what it's coming up. No. In the same thing you can say okay, you said a lot of the games you played the way of remakes, yeah, but these are games Microsoft coming out, they're also announced. Do you saying that, bangers? I'm not coming out anytime soon, but it?
Speaker 2doesn't matter, it's still new. Content is my point and that's why I said I think that's like only come back.

Yeah, I mean the tenor direct it was a showcase. Yes, you can say I was a showcase it's so moist or mad games on there yeah so I got it's a lot of kids.

Speaker 2PlayStation has stuff coming out.
Speaker 1Nintendo doesn't really have much to show because they're literally at the end of their lifeline, but they have plenty of games that's coming out this year and dropping this summer.
Speaker 2Okay, then make sure. Second, you know what, since Mike wants to defend Nintendo so much yo? Are you going to go buy Mio? What Are you going to buy? Memories in the Ark? Are you going to buy that game? No, okay, okay, good, stay with me, stay with me. Are you going to buy Super Mario Party? You know I'm like that, you know I'm. You don't like that game. Speaker 1Right, but you're going to buy one for my taste, listen.
Speaker 2You're going to buy one for my taste. If the show has that many beggars you should be buying 85% of the show Now. I gave you the lower end games for Microsoft.
Speaker 1I'm going to give you the lower end games for Microsoft now. Go ahead and tell me, are you going to buy these lower end games too? But you can say the lower end, Go ahead.

Speaker 1you going to buy mixtape, because I'll be considering this.
Speaker 2I mentioned that to the show hey by, but it's the lower end game though competitive, that we actually who buy those type of water type of game. Would you buy Adam fall? It's like that zombie robot shooting thousand. Oh okay, so fine. Okay, you won't buy that. Will you buy what else? What's a mecha break?
Speaker 1we mentioned that one say Gundam, I don't know, I don't know about that you're but I could say that low break, a low, a low endgame too.

Speaker 2They'll be honest with you. There was the one, was it a flitlock? The siege of dawn, it's like that one with it look like that girl was just going through like the little, like little triangles to advance.
Speaker 1I don't remember that oh yeah, that's the multi-platform game. Yeah, yeah, that is true too. Why would I buy that game?
Reflecting on Nintendo's Game Showcase
Speaker 2man, but but that's, that's just not them. Oh, you even said you buy microsoft flight sim and I always say I always talk about that game. Well, all the time I was like your mic I gave, gave this little look, I know looks big, but you finally gave it this year. Okay, my point is Microsoft had more to offer and once again, I'm not not gonna tell them because their focus is on their next gen games, so they're just date these guys. Here's our final patch of games. Enjoy it. That's what they're telling us and there's nothing wrong with that.
