Applications for the Sargent Scholarship are open!

This scholarship, unique in its eligibility criteria, is exclusively available to spouses and children of full-time employees. It is open to deserving graduate or undergraduate students attending any educational institution, including community colleges and trade schools (except the University of Maine at Orono).

The deadline for application submissions is June 15th.


It's important to note that this scholarship is distinct from the Herbert E. Sargent Scholarship. That provides scholarship assistance to undergraduate or graduate students with either a financial need or a high academic standing at the University of Maine in Orono. The Herbert E. Sargent Scholarship is decided on and awarded by a panel at the University of Maine.
