Gareth joined the British Army in 1994 and served for 24 years; first within the Royal Armoured Corps (RAC) as part of 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards (QDG), and then later transferred to the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).
In this episode he talks about life growing up and joining the military at a young age. He shares his experiences on operational tours including Northern Ireland, and he also talks about competing at two different Invictus Games. Lastly he explains his personal transition back to civilian life.
