The British educator, Charlotte Mason, described home education as the act of spreading an abundant and delicate feast for our children to feed on and then allowing each child to assimilate what he or she can. Don't be the school lunch lady who serves dry, bland textbooks every day. Instead, don a chef's hat and prepare a feast of ideas, living books, and beautiful things. In this week's episode, Carrie shares ideas on why and how to prepare and present a feast of delightful and nourishing homeschooling lessons that will whet your child's appetite for good, lovely, and praiseworthy things. You don't have to be a Charlotte Mason purist to incorporate these ideas into your homeschooling.
