The Meaning of the Name "Family Disciple Me" // A Challenge, an Identity and a Calling
How does the name "Family Disciple Me" encapsulate our ministry's vision, mission, and journey? That's the story I, Tosha Williams, am excited to share with you in this episode, as we talk about the profound meaning behind this ministry.
From its conception as 'Mommy Disciple Me' into a ministry that embraces and equips the wider family of God, the name "Family Disciple Me" both identifies and challenges those of us who embrace it's mission.
I'll take you back to the pivotal moment in 2017, when inspiration struck and the name Family Disciple Me firmly took root, symbolizing a commitment to devotion-driven discipleship that reaches across the globe. With insights from Mark 3:31-35, we'll explore how 'family' transcends our immediate kin, fostering relationships within God's family, and how the term 'disciple' is both an identity and an active call to action.
This episode is an invitation into a multifaceted discipleship experience – a blend of learning, growth, and reaching out. Unpack the layers with me as we engage in a conversation that challenges, encourages, and empowers us to both be and make disciples in God's family.
