This episode features the two co-founders of Soul Evolution Collaborative.  We had an awesome conversation about how and why one should incorporate collective responsibility into one's life, as a counterpoint to the rugged individualism that most of us practice.

Rugged individualism has been largely responsible for the loneliness epidemic we are experiencing, and moving to collective responsibility allows us to alleviate any loneliness we might be feeling.

The old Science of Mind culture that says "what were you thinking to create this" is being recognized as counter-productive to collective living, in addition to being unkind.  Instead, compassion, empathy, authenticity and belonging are becoming a part of the new culture.

They provided the following tips to move from individualism to collective responsibility:

  1. realize that we are all enough
  2. oneness
  3. remain curious, being mindful about where our thoughts come from.  "Whose thought is that?"
  4. compassion for self
  5. read authors that don't look like us, watch tv that is different than what you usually watch.
