Catherine Neazor Brady

Catherine Neazor Brady is a NZ Licensed Immigration Adviser, with over 20 years’ experience working with New Zealand employers in the immigration and HR space. 

As a Partner at Neazor Brady, Catherine specialises in providing international recruitment, immigration and resettlement services to New Zealand employers.
 
Catherine started her HR career in Paris at the OECD - Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.  Since then, she’s held multiple HR roles in New Zealand including several senior HR and management positions in government departments. 


In 2003 Catherine and her husband Connor set up their  HR and Immigration consultancy.  They and their team are fully focused on helping New Zealand employers find, retain and support migrant workers. 

Neazor Brady are the Licensed New Zealand Immigration Consultants used and recommended by VetStaff.

Kristina Naden - Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing - Otago Polytechnic

Kristina Naden is a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing at the School of Animal Health at Otago Polytechnic and has been lecturing in vet nursing since 2009. 

Following graduation, Kristina worked in a mixed practice and then as a surgical nurse in a referral clinic. She also trained as an equine dental technician and ran her own successful business in that field for a number of years until her body could no longer handle the physical demands of the work. 

Kristina discovered a passion for research and is currently engaged in a PhD (she's in the process of upgrading her Master's to a PhD). 

Kristina is also involved in several other research projects:

  • the health and disease status of dogs in Tonga 
  • the engagement of Allied Veterinary Professionals (AVPs) with CPD.   


In her spare time, Kristina is usually doing something with her three horses, catching up on farm work at home.

Laura Harvey - President - NZVNA

Associate Professor Laura Harvey, DipVN, BSc, PG Cert Vet Ed, MSc (Advanced Practice in Vet Nursing)


Associate Professor Laura Harvey transitioned from clinical veterinary practice to academia, earning advanced degrees in veterinary nursing and education. 

At Unitec Institute of Technology, she led the development of New Zealand's first Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing program and now manages multiple veterinary nursing programmes. 

Laura's research focuses on veterinary nurse well-being and utilisation in practice. 

Laura holds leadership roles in professional organisations, including vice-president of the New Zealand Veterinary Nursing Association. 

Her career demonstrates a commitment to advancing veterinary nursing education, research, and professional development in New Zealand and internationally.
