Dr. Crosson is the Executive Director of the Tennessee Association of Recovery Court Professionals (TARCP), a non-profit organization that provides training, education, advocacy, and support to recovery court programs and professionals in Tennessee. She has over twenty years of experience working in the field of addiction treatment and criminal justice programming, serving in a variety of settings from community-based programming to in-prison services.  Since her introduction to recovery courts in 1999, Dr. Crosson has specifically focused on criminal justice reform, advocating for and supporting the implementation and fidelity of the recovery court model.  Dr. Crosson is faculty for the National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) and Justice for Vets. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, their daughter, a dog, a cat, and a handful of Bess Beetles.
