Hey Friend! I would love to hear from you. Send us a text message. (If you need a response from us, please email at connect@disruptingburnout.com)

Ever felt like you're having a heart-to-heart with someone who really gets it? That's the essence captured in our discussion about the authenticity that "Disrupting Burnout" exudes. It's a conversation that recognizes the shared battles we all face, offering a sense of camaraderie and understanding. As we explore the evolution of the book's theme, we touch on personal testimonies and the transformative power of facing our own realities. It's more than just a narrative; it's a mirror inviting introspection and a call to align with one's true calling.

In this gathering of purpose partners, we uncover the lifelines that help us navigate life's tumultuous waters. I share a poignant episode of alignment and premonition with a friend, setting the stage for a deeper exploration of the role of community and faith in our lives. We also dissect the book's structure and celebrate the emotional crescendo brought forth by repositioning a powerful chapter. Remember, this isn't just a book; it's a manual for life's journey, promising a bountiful harvest for those who engage. So, as we wrap up this episode, I invite you to not just read but to practice the principles laid out in "Disrupting Burnout," and brace for the transformation that awaits.

Speaker 1:

Hey, friend, I am Dr Patrice Buckner Jackson, but you can call me PBJ. Welcome back to Disrupting Burnout, the podcast where we give purposeful professionals the strategies for pouring out purpose without living through the consequences of burnout. Friend, I have missed you. We have been completing the book on a book tour, doing all the things, all the things, and now we are back to our regularly scheduled program. Okay, so you can continue to look forward to a new podcast episode every Wednesday. Well, listen, this is what we're doing today. I had to come back and share just a little bit of the book tour experience with you. So today, on this episode, you are going to hear a bit of the book tour launch party. We had a panel discussion of women who got a preview to read the book early and give me some feedback, and you get to hear what they had to say about Disrupting Burnout.

Speaker 1:

Now, friend, let me let you know this episode does start with my very tearful, very emotional introduction at that book launch party, but it is so real for what I was feeling in that moment and what I feel right now. So, listen, welcome to the book launch party. Here's a little bit of the book tour to share with you. I can't wait for you to hear it Tune in here, friend. All the nights of shedding tears, not wanting to do it, writing things that I never meant to share, all of it is worth it in this moment. All of it is worth it. So, anyway, I'm gonna get myself together now, I'll be back, but I just wanna say thank you. I love you and I mean it, every single one of you, whether we have met in person or not. There are people here who I've known and I've shared space with and I've been able to hug. And there are people here who I've shared space with virtually and we still have not met face to face in person to give that in person hug. But this love is real and I appreciate you all. I appreciate you being on this journey. I appreciate you encouraging me along the way. I appreciate you pushing me. I appreciate you seeing the light of God on the inside of me. I appreciate you seeing what's inside of me and encouraging me to allow that to come forth and giving your attention for somebody to pour into you.

Speaker 1:

There's a lot of stuff to listen to right now. There are a lot of people saying a lot of stuff. There's a lot of noise. So the fact that you would give your ear and your heart to hear this message and to read this book, I don't take that for granted. I take that very seriously and I want you to know. I honor your time, I honor your heart and I'm so grateful. I'm so grateful. I love all of you. So thank you for being here. Thank you for being here, jamika. Say me for myself, girl.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know we love you too. We love you too. The feeling is mutual. So much love and we're so proud, and I know you want to stop crying, but if you just go and look at those comments, you'll see all of the love that's coming from all across the country, from Canada. We love you. And you know it's a Tuesday night and this room is packed, and I think that speaks volumes to who you are and the impact that you have had on so many lives and the light that you shine. We love you and the sincerity that you gave us to love. That's what we feel for you. The feeling is absolutely mutual, sis, we love you. Here's what we're gonna do now. We are going to go ahead and jump into the panel and we're gonna, you know, have a discussion about what we've been able to read so far.

Speaker 2:

So when PBJ first decided to write her book, she reached out to a few people and asked them if they would be willing to be beta readers, and so those were people who were able to read the book in advance, and what an honor that was. I had an opportunity to read this book and I couldn't put it down. I took it with me. We traveled to Florida. We were on the way to Disney World and, honey, I was reading the book in the van going to Disney World. I couldn't put the book down. I should be up going to bed at night. I was sitting by the pool reading the book. It was like I couldn't put it down. It was so good and so what an honor that was to be able to participate in it. And even though I had to put notes in the book and send it back, I was sending her screenshots of her book, like she didn't know what she wrote. I said, what y'all, let's talk about this page right here. And I think I sent her a picture one time and then the book was on the floor because I had thrown it. I was like, look, I can't take it, I can't take it, I can't take this. I took the book, threw it on the floor, took a picture and sent it to her.

Speaker 2:

This book is nothing but the truth, and so I thank you for allowing me to be a part. And then, when I sent it back, I said now I'm gonna be honest with you. Most of my feed book is me saying who child. So I don't know if I gave enough constructive criticism, but I was so blown away by so many things that was miles, and, as somebody, as you know, you picked a variety of people, so you probably have some people who will jump in here and give you better than what I am, but for me, I was writing preach and I was highlighting the whole page. I said, which I'm sorry, but this whole, the whole section, was good. I don't know what else to say. So, anyway, thank you for letting me do that.

Speaker 2:

And so tonight for the panel, we have the other women who were invited to be advanced readers, and so I'm gonna introduce them to you all and y'all. We're gonna have some Q and A, we're just gonna have a great time, okay, all right. So, coming to the stage, y'all, I'm so excited to introduce these. And don't forget, ladies, as you hear your name, come up, make sure you raise your hand. Hit reaction, put your virtual hand up so the Sharon can highlight you.

Speaker 2:

The first panelist that we have up is Anita Morris, from Anita by Design. She is the leading sewing instructor for beginners and author of the Amazon bestseller step into it overcoming trials that lead to purpose. Hey, anita, the next person that we have coming to the panel is Jail anchor logos, a rile to realness. She is the community curator. Hey Jail, let me make sure you get up there so we can see hey Jail. All right, the third panelist we have coming is Dr Ramona Lawrence. She is the chief village keeper for women and she look, let me, dr Ramona, I'm gonna get this right. Dr Ramona Lawrence is the chief village keeper for women and minority business owners and she is giving them systems to prepare their business to the next level. Y'all give it up for Dr Ramona Lawrence.

Speaker 2:

Next we have Taisha Andrews, who is a leading realtor in the state of Alabama and teacher of the gospel at Amplified Impact. Hello, taisha. And last but definitely not least, we have Christelle Turner, who is a veteran educator, mom and first lady of the Scarborough Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Christelle, welcome to the panel. So, ladies, if you like, whenever you have a question is directed to you, you can come off mute so that you will be able to answer this, and so I'll direct the questions directly so that you won't have to scramble over it. This first question. I'm going to direct this one to Taisha, and then, taisha, when you finish, christelle, you can jump in. Just in general, describe your experience in reading Disrupting Burnout.

Speaker 3:

All right, there we go. I have a lot of words that can describe my experience in reading it, but I think one of the things that really stand out to me is as I was going through the book. It was like sitting down with a girlfriend, having a real honest chat with one of those girlfriends that don't mind telling you what they see, but also doing it with so much love and compassion, and that's how I felt. Every time I picked up the book, I knew that I was going to get the truth. It was just like having a conversation, and sometimes it was going down hard and I had to put the book down, but I always go back to it and grab my pen, because it's also is a tool for me. It's a tool. I use it as a tool as I was reading it, and so to me, this book is just a chat with a girlfriend. It's a chat with a girlfriend.

Speaker 2:

I love that. And Christelle, how about you?

Speaker 4:

I guess because I know Reverend Patrice on a personal level for quite a long time. When I was reading it for the first time, it was like I could hear her speaking, even though I hadn't listened to the audio book yet. I could literally read the words and I could hear her voice in my ear. So what I would say to those that either haven't gotten opportunity to read this yet, this book is authentic, it's not something she made up, or this is ministry that God has given her and she has given it to us. So I want you to know it's authentic, it's real. As I was reading through it, because I've known her for so long, I was like oh, I remember that, oh, I remember that. And then there were some things that I didn't know and it informed me so much more about her, and so it's really deep, it's very personal. That's why I know that it was something that God gave her and that she needs to give it to you. So if you get the opportunity, you need this book, sis.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and I agree with both of you. I'll tie you back to what you said about a very real conversation there was. Sometimes I was like, ma'am, get out my business. You know the open my business, and I didn't ask you to do this, you asked me to help you and now you up in my business and this is a problem. Okay, so just it is. It is very you know, it was very real. So it will definitely hit you in places. You know, it gives you an opportunity to really think about yourself and the things that you're doing.

Speaker 2:

And I told her one time I said I looked around and tried to figure out if you had cameras in my house. This is for me, the guy tell you right for everybody, or for me, and so I love that she is able to bring that in. And it really is like sitting down and talking to a friend who loves you enough to keep it real. That's that's what I said like a friend who loves you enough to keep it real. Now, dr PBJ, I would like to direct this next question to you. Now, I had this question for you when we initially got on. We were just, you know, doing all of our sound check, and then I was like we're going to put a pen in it, we're going to come back and talk about it now, when I was listening.

Speaker 2:

So I read the book and then I got the audio. So I'm listening, I'm washing dishes and I'm hearing your words and I'm telling you all please, please, please, read the book, listen to the book both of them phenomenal. And I said, oh, I noticed that you had made some changes to the book and I was like man, she almost needed to call this something dealing with purpose, you know, in finding yourself. And then I don't know, maybe it was Holy Spirit said try to look at the book she sent you. And I said, oh, we have changed the title. The title was not this at first. Now it says the professional woman's lifeline to finding purpose. And I was like, yes, yes, because it's so much more than just about disrupting burnout. It's about operating in your brilliance, as you put it, and finding your purpose. And so I would just love for you to share for everybody, and for me too, how you decided to change this title. Where did this title come from?

Speaker 1:

So I'm going to call on a couple of these sisters to help me, because they're the ones that pulled me into where we're supposed to be. So I'll start with Anita Morris. When you all received the book so they didn't have a book like what you all will receive they had a printout, a spiral bound printout, and I had called it something like the heart of burnout. And the reason why I did that is because I listened to a coach, a guru, an author, somebody out there, and they were saying how the title of your book needs to be cheerful and happy and compelling or people are not going to read it. So I don't know if you all remember, but at one point I changed the name of the podcast to Disrupting Burnout. I was convinced that Disrupting Burnout is what I'm supposed to be doing.

Speaker 1:

So everything went towards Disrupting Burnout, and then I heard this person say that and I questioned. I questioned if that was the name. I worried if people would be drawn to it, if it would make sense. Does Disrupting Burnout make sense to anyone? So when I sent the beta copies, I gave you all three choices of titles. Y'all remember that but none of them said Disrupting Burnout. All of them were the heart of something right. And then I got my first copy back from Anita Morris. Anita, unmute yourself and tell the people how you gathered me back to myself.

Speaker 5:

Ma'am, okay. So her instructions in the beginning were for us to be open and honest with her. She wanted to hear from our hearts and she wanted the truth. So I was like, okay, I'm all for that. So the first instruction was the title. That was the first thing we had to do and I read through the three suggestions I'm going to call them suggestions even though it was your book but I read through those three and I didn't see Disrupting Burnout anywhere.

Speaker 5:

And in my mind, pbj and Disrupting Burnout go together. You can't separate the two. That's, I know her from Disrupting Burnout. When I met her, she was talking about Disrupting Burnout. So I was confused and I was like, well, wait, I haven't even read the book yet, but I know it's going to be about Disrupting Burnout. So I was like, okay, I'm going to give it a chance, I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to read the first chapter and see if you know these other things. This title says she's giving us is going to fly.

Speaker 5:

And as I started reading, I couldn't, I couldn't let go of it. So I went back and I just wrote my notes and I was like, sis, disrupting Burnout, like when you look at this book. Can you imagine it without this? I couldn't imagine it in my brain her first book coming out without Disrupting Burnout. Disrupting Burnout, in my mind, is the headliner, like the professional woman's lifeline to finding purpose is good and it's cute, but without Disrupting Burnout, no, because this is the headliner. Without this this doesn't happen. Right, because this is what she talks about. She teaches us about how to disrupt the burnout so that we can get to this. So I was like, yes, she, she teaches us, she, she gives us the lifeline, she teaches us how to find purpose. But the catalyst to all of that is Disrupting Burnout. So I just couldn't see it without those words.

Speaker 1:

This is why you need community, because you need people around you who will remind you of who you are. There there, like I said, there's so much noise in, in, in, so many people speaking and telling and instructing. Especially in this day and age, anybody can have a platform. You need people surrounding you who know you but also who know the brilliance on the inside of you. So when you get, when you get cloudy, when you have questions, when you start to doubt, those people will pull on what's on the inside of you and remind you of who you are. So once Anita said that, I said done that you're, yeah, done. But I was stuck on the on the subtitle, so I had Disrupting Burnout. I knew that was it. That's all it took. I was like got it. Now, what do I do? Because I was. I have the hard work strategies and how do I? What's this subtitle? So long story short.

Speaker 1:

I had a day, y'all, I was physically ill, like physically ill. My head was hurting, my stomach was hurting. I thought I was going to be sick, and then I couldn't be sick Like I was. I really. I called my husband and I said I think I need to go to the emergency room. I couldn't explain it, I couldn't figure out what was going on. I had never felt that that way before. So I I called Tyesha and I said listen, you need to pray because I don't know what's happening to me. I don't know what's going on, but I feel like I am going to be sick, like I am just sick and I can't, like, I can't shake it. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1:

So then I don't remember if I texted or I called Dr Ramona Lawrence. I reached out. I think I texted you first, I think I texted you first and I said I am completely sick. So I don't know what's going on with me, I don't know why I feel this way. And then everything just starts coming out. I got questions about this, questions about that, and she responded. She said girl, the subtitle of this book is the professional woman's lifeline to finding purpose, not guide. She said no, not guide, this is a lifeline. And as soon as I got that text, the sickness left, I didn't feel it anymore. I felt completely normal, completely. It was almost. It was almost like I was birthing something and I couldn't get there. And as soon as she gave me that, it was complete peace. So, dr Lawrence, talk to us about, because it was a moment for you. It wasn't even a toil. As soon as you read my text, it was like that's it, and so tell us about that moment. What do you remember about that moment?

Speaker 6:

So we often have a lot of alignment with our physical symptoms, with everything, and so, as you were feeling that I was actually on vacation, so y'all, I'm reading this thing in the RV on vacation. My feet kicked up and I'm sitting here like this is giving me life.

Speaker 6:

This is giving me life, like I was feeling life, life, life.

Speaker 6:

And as I was reading it, I could also feel that there was something going on with you, and I think I texted you first Something happened where, and then.

Speaker 6:

So, when we started texting back and forth, I was like, oh, I knew that you didn't feel good, because I could tell something was going on, because I could almost feel it in my own body, and so once we started texting back and forth, then I said, oh, this is what it is, it's the life line, the professional woman's life line, because that's what I was feeling, that it is truly giving life. And it's so interesting, patrice, that you say that you felt like you were giving birth, because that's what's happening with what you're doing. You're giving life to other people, to women, right, who are reading this and who are disrupting burnout and seeing there and discovering their brilliance. So that's absolutely what was happening. So the title is just the beginning, so that's the beginning of life for people, and so that's why Lifeline is on there. So we disrupting some stuff and then we start in that life, and so, yeah, that's just a perfect analogy for what I think is happening with this book.

Speaker 1:

I want to ask everybody who's with us tonight, who are your purpose partners? Who is the person or the people that you connect with and everything in you leaps? Who are the people that, when you pick up the phone and you hear their voice, you can feel it in your chest, you can feel it in your belly. It reminds me, and y'all know who I am. So let's just do it. When Mary showed up and she was carrying Jesus, Elizabeth's baby knew, Elizabeth's baby knew who had shown up. Who are your purpose partners? Who are the people?

Speaker 1:

When you get on Zoom, when you get on the phone, when you see their face, when you are connected to them, or when you don't see them and you can feel them, you don't have to see their face. You don't have to know the details, you don't have to know what's going on, but in your spirit you already know before they tell you who are your people. Don't take it for granted. Your relationships are the most valuable pieces of your life, the people that you are connected to. Who are you connected to? Who are the purpose partners that push you forward and that cause that dream, that vision, that purpose to leap, but also pull you forward when you feel like you can't go anymore. That's Dr Ramona.

Speaker 1:

When I connect with Dr Ramona, first of all, every time I tell her something, she's like I already she'll tell me. First She'll call me and say, hey, are you feeling this, this, this and this? Ma'am, please stop doing that Like, why are you doing that? But every single time, what's going on with this, this and this? Or she'll ask a question. I'm like why did you even ask me that, that particular question today? Why did you ask me that you need purpose partners in your life? All right, Jamaica, get me out of here, girl, because I'm ready to go Listen.

Speaker 2:

There was so much I wanted to say like listen and taking notes, but I love that and so I'm gonna say this I love how God aligns things because, you know, every day I have a whole ritual that I go through and reading the word and giving God time, and most morning, as I start with you version before I get into like reading, and today's verse was Proverbs 17, 17,. A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for a time of adversity, and the whole focus was on making sure that you're in community with your brothers and sisters in Christ, because you think you know the enemy will try to make you think that you need to isolate yourself. But see, when he isolates you, that's when he gets in your ear and that is why you need the purpose partners to remind you that the devil is a liar and remind you of who you are and who's you are. So I love what you all shared about that relationship. Yeah, find your purpose partners. People find your purpose partners. So let's jump back to the book real quick.

Speaker 2:

When again, read the book, listen to the book, and the thing that I noticed with this when I was listening, chapter one caught me off guard, listening, because that's not where it was. And the reason I knew it had moved I didn't know where it moved from was because chapter one is a it comes out swinging. You know, I mean, chapter one knocks you pretty hard and I was like man, like I don't remember feeling like this at the very beginning and so, honestly, I was riding the other day and didn't even listen to it. I got tears in my eyes because, like, just, I won't give the book away, but what you share. And then reading it was one thing, but hearing the emotion behind it when you shared it. So I would just like to know your thought process about what made you change that and what had you come out with using it, what you use for chapter one?

Speaker 1:

So what is now? Chapter one was chapter eight. When you all got the book and again this community and I want you all to know that these women were chosen prayerfully. There are so many women, even women in the chat, women who are here tonight that could have would have said yes, but I, prayerfully one. Should I even have beta readers? Should I even have somebody read it before it comes out? I know for me that was a yes and who should it be? And there were specific instructions of who. When I got your. So I mailed to you. You all gave me comments and mailed back, and when I got it back from JL JL, when she got to chapter eight, she said why is this chapter eight?

Speaker 1:

She said this is what I was waiting for, this is what I need, this is what I came for. Why is this chapter eight? I think it should be chapter one. I'm gonna be real with y'all and say girl, I love you, jl, but that ain't it, it's already. Look, this book is done, it is in the right order. I'm not trying to hear that, I just want it to be over. No, ma'am, this is a burnout book and I'm starting with the burnout story, but it wouldn't leave me alone. So then I reached out to Dr Ramona and when I explained to her I was like, well, you know what's the day to read? A said and she said she's right. She said she's absolutely right. So, jl, if you would share your perspective of why you gave me that feedback.

Speaker 7:

Whoo, I think, similar to Jamaica. I was underlining pages right and I was saying, yes, preach, woo, woo. You know giving all my emotion to your words on the book. But then I got to chapter eight and I said hold on, this one's different, this one's different, and the way God used you and the words you spoke without even realizing, without even thinking. I said this is your brilliance shining through. This needs to be chapter one.

Speaker 7:

It stood out, it stood out and before we even dove into the book, you gave us instructions and one of them was to be honest, and I said I'm gonna be honest. If she doesn't like this commentary, that is okay. I'm sure there were other ones where you're like what is she talking about? Right, but I said I'm just gonna give it to her. She can take, she can leave, whatever she wants. But it is my job here, my duty, my way to express love to you, like you have poured into us, to give you my honest truth. And at that moment I said this needs to be chapter one. And so I think that goes to like the power of community and leadership on your part, where you are willing to listen and accept feedback, because not everybody will do that. Not everybody will do that, but a leader will do that. A strong, supportive, nurturing leader will do that. Dr Poojee.

Speaker 1:

And JL, you were able to see what I couldn't see. I was too close to the mirror. I was all in it, like this is my life, right, like these stories are not made up, this is my life. So I was too close to it to see what you saw and that's why I needed you in that moment to be honest and say all right, I love you, but I really think this is chapter one. Dr Ramona, did you wanna add anything there?

Speaker 6:

Yeah, very similar things. I think I was saying, yes, this is my girl, I love this book, yes, this is different than everybody else, with disrupting burnout. And then, when I got to chapter eight, I was like, ooh, she, ooh. Like it was like, ooh, this is it right here. Like this is the absolute reason that I came here and I said, ah, if I would have seen that in chapter one. That makes me want to go through everything else in the book and it makes me like I got to figure out my brilliance, because this is so good the way that she figured hers out. I got to know what mine is, but the other was a slower lead up to that and then. And so putting it at the chapter one is just like that here. Here's what my brilliance is, and you got to know yours.

Speaker 2:

So keep breathing. Dr Ramona, I have to go with you on that too. It's like in seeing how God used her brilliance. She had to use her brilliance and you see that the impact that her brilliance had and so then it made you think like, well, I can't keep my brilliance on the shelf, I need to operate in my brilliance too. And so, jail, I think and I was just looking through the comments, with some of us like that that suggestion was divine and I wholeheartedly agree. And so those who've read it or who listened to it, they were agreeing and saying that it brought tears to them, and to jail and Dr Ramona, I, when I read it and I see that's why you had to have different people I was just so caught up in the book I didn't even think about it.

Speaker 2:

But when I listen, I was like the the impact that moving that chapter to chapter one had, that was it, that was that was a game changer. I mean, it pulled me all the way in, even more than I got pulled in reading it. So I'm grateful that for your honesty, jail and Dr Ramona, because I feel like that was that chapter is exactly where it needs to be, and I'm excited for everyone to get their copy and listen, you know or read it, agree wholeheartedly. I would just like to know from each one of you what do you have to say, or what would be the one thing that you would say to the woman or man, whoever it is, but to the woman who is getting ready to crack this book open and start reading, what is one thing that you would like to say with them? And I'll start with you, anita.

Speaker 5:

Oh, one thing I would say get ready to get your freedom. Yeah, get ready to get your freedom from the cycles of burnout, Because that's exactly what Dr PBJ has done for us. She has walked us through a process of getting free from the cycles of burnout that we've allowed ourselves to go through. Amen.

Speaker 2:

Jail.

Speaker 7:

Surrender. As I was reading one of the beta copy draft, I think I was trying to not fight you on one of them, but I was like, are you sure, dr PBJ? This is like I felt like there was a little back and forth on one part, but I think why was I putting up a wall against it? So I say, surrender and trust the process, allow it to move you, allow it to change you, because this is your lifeline.

Speaker 2:

That's powerful Surrender. Somebody needs to write that down.

Speaker 6:

Dr Ramona, I would say just really prepare for the transformation and use it as the step-by-step guide that it is going to be. When you step, step back, reflect and then step again, because it is so rich, it is so much to absorb, but it is truly, truly going to be a transformation, so allow that transformation to happen. You really, really just think about the process and it go through the process and allow it to transform you, because it is so good.

Speaker 2:

I agree, and I wanted to say, dr PBJ, I hope this is okay it's a journal that you download with this as you go through. So I would just like to encourage you to do the work and I know we're not supposed to give away too much and I've been sitting here because, again, I took all these notes. But then when I listened, I started taking more notes and I have to say this one of the things you said, this is not a book to be read, it is a manual to be practiced, and I was like that is good. So I would love for you all to piggyback on what these three ladies have already said Be ready for the transition and be ready to do the work. Use this manual and practice what's in there. Taisha.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm so similar to what they've already said, I'm just going to read it. That's what I wrote today. As I went back and listened to a chapter to sit out for me, I said it's okay to let it go, surrender it all. And then, to quote from chapter 12, god will never require you to give something without returning more to you than you gave.

Speaker 2:

So good, christelle.

Speaker 4:

And I guess I kind of I'm with Taisha. We believe in the principle of sewing and weaving. So when you read this book, you need to realize that Dr Patrice has sewn so much into this book. And I'm not talking about just the accolades or the degrees or, you know, the, the, the plomas and the academics of it. I'm talking about the spiritual sewing that she has done for this book. She has sewn years.

Speaker 4:

This is not a book that was written over a short period of time. This is a book that has been written over seasons of her life and so she has really sewn into this book and because she's sewn into it and because you know it's a righteous sewing, it's going to be a righteous harvest as well, and I just, I just need y'all to understand that this is so much bigger than the academic or the, the practical. This is a spiritual thing and because of that, and because she had, she's sewn, she's sewn in righteousness, she's going to reach a righteous harvest and those of us that are connected with that, we also are going to have a immeasurable harvest because of this righteousness.

Speaker 2:

Yes and and and. Just to piggyback on that, you know, as you read through and you've shared your story publicly before you know, I couldn't help but think the other day was when you had that, when the demand of burnout because you said, overwhelm is the whisper but burnout is the demand and I know at the time when you had that, you had no idea that that breakdown was going to help so many other people get a breakthrough. In that moment you didn't know, like, how that was going to be used, and so I think that's just a testament altogether in. Sometimes things come and they, they shake you up and you are like Lord, if you could just get me out of this please. But he's preparing you, you know, because a lot of times how can I help you? You know the what's the word I think we've heard before is the.

Speaker 2:

The person that you best serve to help is the person you used to be. And so you know, I'm just grateful that you turned it in and that you've used it. So if I had to say something, I would say be prepared to be transformed, like all of these other women have said, because this second time through since I've listened, I've been antsy ever since I lied to you. Not, I have just been like because I know I've been sitting on some brilliance, and so I'll just say that, as you listen to this book, just know that you're not going to be able to read this book and stay the same like you can, because if you do read the book, even if you try to stay the same, you're not going to have peace with it. So just get ready to be transformed and put in the work.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness, friend, I believe you could feel the experience in the room by just listening to that conversation. This entire book tour has just been transformational, as I've had the opportunity to meet with people who have been impacted by this message of disrupting burnout. Listen, friend, if you don't have your book, go to patricebutnerjaxsoncom slash book. I will put that in the show notes. You can order your book from any book retailer online. You can order it from my website. You can also access the audio.

Speaker 1:

Now, here's the thing, friend. I did not professionally record this audio. It was actually just recorded for people who pre-ordered, but I've heard over and over and over that I need to make it available to everybody. So it's available. Go to patricebutnerjaxsoncom slash book and you can download. Access the audio, listen to it through your favorite podcast platform so that you can hear, not just read, the book. And here's the thing about the audio I added several spoonfuls of PBJ that are not in the print book, so you want both of them. You want your printed copy and you definitely want your audio. Friend, listen, this is the most completed work I've ever done and it's for you, and I'm excited to give it to you from my heart and as always, you are powerful, you are significant and you are loved. And as always PBJ.
