Work comes in many different forms and you may or may not have a traditional societal job right now and that may or may not be down to your disability or illness. But in my opinion there isnt a human being alive who gets through the day without some level of work being done. Aint nobody round here not working ! and there was just no way i was going to ever create this podcast series without exploring and discussing one of the most taboo subjects when it comes to living a life alongside an illness or disability, and that's Work.  Its often the subject in which as a community we are most judged, exploited, hurt and at a disadvantage in and so your daaymm right im bringing awareness to it.
So in this episode i discuss being disabled and having those roles and jobs you have no option to turn up to in your life for example the job of being a mother or father, sister, somebody's child ect. I discuss having a disability and navigating the traditional working world and what that can be like in todays society. I approach being employed and how to navigate work demands with a disability or illness. I discuss you being a boss, being the employer and in charge of somebody else's work. I highlight how having a job or a workload can provide fulfilment, meaning and be a very healthy addition to our lives. But not without discussing  how it can also be very traumatic and even life threatening if not navigated right. So as always im blooming discussing it all here and in the usual way of how i role by sharing my experience within the complex world of work living alongside my disability to date and all the good, bad and the ugly i have learned along the way.
If there is anyone who would like any help or advice regarding anything discussed within this episode or would like to share their own personal experience or advice and be involved in the NKD community in anyway.
