Glen Nelson

Glen Nelson is an author, arts executive, exhibition curator, librettist, and scholar. He is the author of: 33 books; 128 essays, articles, and interviews; 22 works of fiction, theater, and poetry; the librettist of 8 operas and 22 choral works, art songs, and hymns. As a ghostwriter, three of his books have become nonfiction New York Times bestsellers. He curated the forthcoming exhibition, "John Held, Jr." at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art, co-curated the museum exhibition "Joseph Paul Vorst: A Retrospective" at the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he curated three gallery exhibitions each with accompanying exhibition catalogs. His most recent book is "Joseph Paul Vorst," the first book-length biography of the artist. His next opera, with Grammy-award winning composer Lansing McLoskey, was commissioned by Guerilla Opera in Boston, "The Captivity of Hannah Duston."
