Krista was born a storyteller.  
She was born and raised in Washington State, except for the time she lived in two different logging camps in Alaska.   
She has one son who is currently serving in the Marine Corps.  
In 2016 she left her 11-year career in Emergency Management.  Soon after she was asked to start her own emergency management consulting business.  
In 2020, just after her 50th birthday, she sold almost everything, loaded up her truck, vintage trailer, dog, two cats and drove off into the big wide world for a year.  
She is currently residing with her son on the east coast but will begin traveling again soon.
Krista currently writes her own blog titled Travelintoxication, is a self-published author of a book titled, Realizing your dream of full time RV travel and is currently writing more books, including a children's book about the traveling life of her dog and two cats.
