Jane Gowan
Jane is a Vancouver-born, Toronto-based musician, songwriter, and graphic artist. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at UBC, Jane attended the Vancouver Community College Jazz Program with a focus on contemporary piano. She began playing in bands in the early 90s, and was the co-founder of the 6-piece pop group Spygirl. In 2006 she moved to Toronto, where she started her indie pop band The Real Shade (formerly Shade).
