Welcome, dear friends, to another episode of a God night's sleep. Thank you for being here. I am deeply honored to be with you tonight.

As you prepare to relax and unwind, find a comfortable position, either lying down or sitting back in a cozy chair. Close your eyes and take a deep, calming breath. Tonight, we will explore the beautiful simplicity and purity of being a child of God. Our meditation is inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:2-5, reminding us of the precious qualities of a child that bring us closer to the kingdom of heaven.

Let us begin our journey into tranquility and divine presence.

Imagine yourself standing on a serene beach at sunset. The sky is painted with warm hues of orange, pink, and purple, and the sun is slowly descending towards the horizon. The sound of the gentle waves lapping at the shore soothes your soul, and the soft, cool sand beneath your feet grounds you in this peaceful moment.

As you walk along the shoreline, you see children playing in the distance. Their laughter is pure and infectious, filling the air with a sense of wonder and delight. They are carefree, innocent, and fully present in the moment.

As you watch these children, allow yourself to remember what it felt like to be a child. Feel the simplicity, the openness, and the boundless energy you once had. Let these memories awaken your inner child, the part of you that is still full of wonder, joy, and purity.

Now, repeat these affirmations after me, either silently or out loud, letting each one resonate deeply within your heart:

1. I am a child of God.

2. I am made in His image and likeness.

3. I am pure in spirit.

4. I am dependent on God; without Him, I am nothing.

5. I am joyful in this life I was given.

6. I am open to the goodness this life has to offer.

7. I am humble towards God and others.

8. I am honest with who I am to myself, God, and others.

Feel these truths settle into your soul, filling you with a deep sense of peace and belonging.

Let us now turn our hearts to the words of Jesus from the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 18, verses 2 to 5:

"And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.'"

From the Gospel of Mark, chapter 10, verses 13 to 16:

"And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, 'Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.' And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them."

And from the Book of Psalms, chapter 131, verses 1 to 2:

"O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great <6:58> and too marvelous for me. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me."

Let these words fill your heart with the understanding that childlike faith, humility, and dependence on God are precious in His sight.

Let us end our time together with a prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, seeking to rediscover the pure and humble spirit of a child within us. Help us to embrace the simplicity, joy, and openness that children naturally possess. May we trust in You completely, depend on Your guidance, and remain humble in our walk with You.

Lord, as we drift into sleep, let Your peace wash over us. Renew our spirits and fill our hearts with the light of Your love. Grant us restful sleep, and awaken us refreshed, ready to face a new day with the heart of a child.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for joining me tonight. May you have a peaceful and restful sleep, enveloped in God's love and grace. Until next time, good night and God bless.
