Thank you and have a God night’s sleep!

  • Hello, dear friend! Welcome to this sacred time and space we share on a God Night’s Sleep the podcast. I am so blessed to have you here tonight as we dive into one of the most important topics in our spiritual journey: salvation.
Salvation is a transformation of the soul, mind, and heart. In tonight’s episode, we’ll reflect on the three essential pillars of true salvation and what it means to live in the light of God’s grace.

    Guided Reflection
Now, Find a comfortable position, either seated or lying down. Close your eyes and take a deep, full breath. Feel the air filling your lungs, and as you exhale, imagine releasing all your worries and distractions. Let the tension in your body melt away with each breath.
Picture yourself standing in a vast open field, the golden light of the sun gently warming your skin. The warm sunlight; like God's presence, shining His love and grace upon you. Feel the peace of this moment, knowing that you are fully seen, known, and loved by the Creator of the universe.
As you walk through this field, you notice a well-worn path. This path represents your journey of salvation—a walk toward God that is guided by faith, righteousness, and love. Let us walk together, step by step, reflecting on what it means to live a life of true salvation.

    1. True Faith
As you walk this path, the first marker you see is a cross. It reminds you of the cornerstone of salvation: faith in Jesus Christ. True salvation begins with believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose on the third day.
Take a moment to affirm this in your heart:
“I believe in Jesus Christ, my Savior, who redeemed me through His resurrection. I am saved by His grace.”
    Scriptures to Meditate On:

    1. Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
  •
    1. Romans 10:9: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
  •
    1. John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
  •
    1. Acts 16:31: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."

  •

  •
    1. 2 Corinthians 5:7: "For we live by faith, not by sight."
  •
    1. 1 Peter 1:8-9: "Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

     2. True Righteous Living
The second marker on your path is a clear, flowing stream. The water sparkles in the sunlight, a symbol of the cleansing and renewing power of living a righteous life. True salvation is evident in how we walk daily in God’s ways, allowing the fruits of the Holy Spirit to blossom in our lives.
Imagine kneeling by this stream, dipping your hands into the cool water, and letting it cleanse away anything that separates you from God. Whisper a prayer, asking Him to guide your steps in righteousness and help you live a life that reflects His holiness.

     3. True Loving
The third marker on your journey is a tree laden with abundant fruit. Each piece of fruit represents love—a love that flows from God into our relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and even enemies. True salvation is demonstrated in how we love others, reflecting God’s unconditional love.
Sit beneath this tree. Feel the shade of its branches as God’s love covers you. Take a moment to think about the people in your life. Are you loving them as Jesus loves you? Are you showing kindness, patience, and forgiveness?
    Affirm this prayer:
“Lord, fill my heart with Your love so I can love others as You love me.  Help me to be a light of Your compassion and grace in this world.”
    Scriptures to Meditate On:

  •
    1. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
  •
    1. Romans 12:9-10: "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."

  •
  •
Let these scriptures root deeply in your heart, just as the tree’s roots anchor it in the ground. Allow God’s love to flow through you, nourishing every interaction and relationship in your life.

     Let us pray:

     Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation, given through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We believe in Your promise of eternal life, and we affirm our faith in You. Lord, guide us to live righteously, to walk in Your ways, and to bear the fruits of the Spirit in all that we do.
Help me to live a life of true faith, righteousness, and love. May Your light shine through me, so others may see and glorify You.
Fill our hearts with love—not just for those who are easy to love, but for everyone You place in our path. Help us to forgive as You forgive, to show grace as You show grace, and to be vessels of Your compassion in this world.
Strengthen us to be lights in the darkness, walking in Your truth and reflecting Your glory. May Your Word continue to transform our hearts, and may our lives be a testimony of Your unending mercy and love.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

    Closing Remarks

Remember, dear friend, that God’s Word is the ultimate guide to salvation. Let it be the lamp to your feet and the light to your path. When we root ourselves in His truth, we will not waver. Salvation is not something we earn but something we receive through His endless mercy.
Thank you for joining me tonight. May God bless you as you walk in true faith, true righteousness, and true love. Have a God night's sleep!
