Spirit-Led Hope
Spirit-Led Hope is a sequential teaching podcast for Christians who want to grow in hope, peace, and everyday life with the Holy Spirit. Each episode in a season builds on the last, offering clear, practical guidance for following Jesus in a complicated world.
Season 5 explores the supernatural and paranormal from a Spirit-led perspective.
Season 4 examines the doctrine of God and what it means to know our Creator.
Season 3 focuses on understanding the Bible.
Season 2 looks at the tension between the biblical creation story and modern science.
Season 1 introduces the activity, gifts, and fruit of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life.
For a given season, themes build on each other. For each season the episodes are best experienced in order.
Hosted by Glenn Erichsen — a licensed and ordained lay pastor in the Foursquare movement, with a background in physics and a passion for the intersection of faith and science. (His employer is not involved in the content.)

Spirit-Led Hope is on a break between Season 3 and Season 4. While on the break, Glenn is releasing short "minicasts" to keep in touch with Spirit-Led Hope listeners. Minicasts are short episodes where Glenn sits down at the microphone and casually chats. In-depth teachings will resume with Season 4, which will cover the Doctrine of God, or theology.
In this episode, Glenn muses on how to become a better person. No surprise...Glenn points out that real change comes by transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Minicasts will be deleted once Season 4 starts. There are no transcripts for this episode unless your podcast listening app provides one. If you want to know more about Spirit-Led Hope, please go to https://spiritledhope.com/ .
The upcoming Season 4 is part of a long term goal to study systematic theology. If you want to know more about systematic theology, or expand your study, Glenn is using the following text as a helpful framework to make sure the main topics are covered: Foundations of Pentecostal Theology, by Guy P. Duffield and Nathaniel M. Van Cleave. The book is published by Foursquare Media and Glenn is using the Second Edition published in 2016.
