Anna Mohl

Anna is the Head of International Business Operations for Nestlé Health Science, responsible for leading, developing, and executing the organization’s business strategy across Medical Nutrition, Consumer Care, and VMHS in all markets outside the US. She is passionate about the role nutrition can play in enhancing consumers’ and patients’ lives, and is energized by the opportunity to work with our local teams around the world. 

Anna joined Nestlé Health Science in 2010, leading US Medical Nutrition marketing, Medical Nutrition sales, and then serving as the Business Head. Prior to joining Health Science, Anna held several marketing and innovation roles in the Nestlé US Infant Nutrition (Gerber) organization for seven years. Before joining Nestlé, Anna held marketing positions at Nabisco, Unilever, and RiskMetrics Group. Anna holds a Bachelors from Columbia University and an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Cal Han

Cal leads strategy, marketing and innovation for Nestlé Health Science’s Global Healthy Aging brands such as Boost, Sustagen, Nutren and Meritene around the world. He is responsible for accelerating, developing and executing the mid to long-term strategy of NHS’s Healthy Aging brands across mature and developing markets including the US, Europe and Asia.

Cal joined Nestlé Health Science in 2017 and prior to his global role, led NHSc’s largest healthy aging brand, Boost in the US, to double-digit growth across key product launches and communication campaigns. Prior to joining Nestlé Health Science, Cal held several marketing and brand management roles in the US across nationally distributed and iconic brands in CPG and Consumer Health Care at companies such as P&G and Sanofi.

Cal holds a BS in General Management from The University of Alabama and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with a focus on global and international business.

Throughout her career, Christiane has worked closely with corporations, government entities, non-profit organizations, and the media to transform the way we grow, produce, and distribute food. She earned her BA from Barnard College, an MBA from Fordham University, and an MS in Nutrition and Public Health from Columbia University.

Rick Jentis

Rick is the International Head of Vital Proteins. Previously was the Category Head for Healthy Aging and Cellular Nutrition at Nestlé Health Science, where he was responsible for leading, developing, and executing the organization’s strategy for improving longevity and health-span. He has worked with our business teams around the world to empower healthier lives through nutrition focusing on the over 50s consumers.

Rick joined Nestlé in 2011, leading US Medical Nutrition marketing, before transitioning to lead US Innovation and Integrated marketing. He transitioned into Global roles leading the Gut Health Category, Healthy Aging and now Vital Proteins International. Before joining Nestlé Health Science, Rick held several marketing and innovation roles in the Nestlé US Infant Nutrition (Gerber) organization for 11 years. Before joining Nestlé, Rick held marketing positions in the Unilever. Rick holds a Bachelor’s from Cornell University and an MBA from Duke University.

Bobby Brooke

Bobby Brooke is the Executive Director of The Clock Foundation and CEO and CTO of Intervene Immune, a privately held biotechnology company focused on immune system regeneration.

In 2003, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA in 2005.

Bobby is a Biotech entrepreneur - having previously been the founder of the cancer drug development company Genesis Biopharma (now known as Iovance Biotherapeutics), where he served as Director, President, and CEO from March 2010 until February 2011.

From 2004 to 2008, he was also an analyst with Bristol Capital Advisors, investment manager to Bristol Investment Fund, Ltd. During this period, Bristol financed over 60 public healthcare and life science companies and was listed by The PIPEs Report in 2005 as being the most active investor in private placements by public biotechnology companies.

Dr Anurag Singh

Dr Anurag Singh is the Chief Medical Officer of Timeline Nutrition, a biotech company focused on discovering and developing next generation natural compounds that target improvement in mitochondrial health.

His began his career in 2003 as a Resident Medical Doctor at Northern Railway Divisional Hospital in Lucknow. By 2009, he had become a Medical Director at Nestle S.A. where he provided medical and scientific expertise in developing clinical trial protocols and led numerous food and respiratory allergy clinical trials. In 2012, he was a Kauffman Fellow Finalist and in 2013 he became Global Medical Director at Nestle Health Science. In 2014, he joined Amazentis SA as Chief Medical Officer where they developed a novel, science-first brand and lead overall medical and clinical research strategy. Anurag's work led to multiple high-impact clinical trial publications, partnership deals and launch of healthcare consumer products.

Dr Brian Vickery

Dr Brian Vickery is the Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University and the founding Director of the Food Allergy Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Prior to Children’s, Brian held faculty positions at Duke University School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. While working at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, he led a group that was first to show sustained unresponsiveness can occur after peanut OIT. He subsequently demonstrated that early treatment of peanut-allergic preschool children with OIT is safe and leads to better outcomes. 

He has also contributed to the development of national food allergy treatment guidelines. Dr Vickery has received several awards for clinical care as well as research awards from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Dr Duane Mellor is the lead for Nutrition and Evidence-Based Medicine and Associate Dean for Public Engagement in the College of Health and Life Sciences at Aston Medical School in Birmingham. Duane is an award-winning Registered Dietitian, science communicator, medical educator and researcher.

Dr Liz Isenring

Dr Liz Isenring is an Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian, CEO of Linc Nutrition, Professor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Bond University, and Director, RIF Health. 

Dr Liz started her career as a hospital dietitian supporting people with cancer to improve their quality of life via medical nutrition therapy. Realising the gap in evidence she then undertook a PhD to investigate the impact of personalised nutrition to help people with gastrointestinal and head and neck cancer get through their radiotherapy treatment with less side effects.

Recognised as an international nutrition and wellness expert, Dr Liz has published across scientific papers and books and is a highly sought-after keynote speaker. Dr Liz was inspired to start LINC Nutrition during a time when two friends were diagnosed with cancer. Seeing the medical and health system through their lens inspired Dr Liz to be the “LINC” between hospital and at home care.

Dr Luc Van Loon

Dr Luc Van Loon is a Professor of Physiology, Exercise and Nutrition at the Department of Human Biology and scientific coordinator of the Stable Isotope Research Centre (SIRC) at Maastricht University Medical Centre.

His current research focuses on the skeletal muscle adaptive response to exercise, and the impact of nutrition and exercise interventions to modulate muscle metabolism in health and disease. The main research interests of his laboratory include exercise metabolism, sports nutrition, adaptation to endurance and resistance type exercise, and the use of physical activity and/or dietary interventions to improve health in chronic metabolic disease and with ageing. 

He is also member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism (IJSNEM), Amino Acids (AA), and the European Journal of Sport Science (EJSS) and the Scientific Board of the European College of Sport Science (ECSS).

Dr Matt Henn

Dr Matt Henn, PhD is the Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice President at Seres Therapeutics. Matthew Henn has over 16 years of combined research experience in microbial ecology, genomics, and bioinformatics that span both environmental and infectious disease applications. 

Matt is an expert in the development, implementation, and application of various genomic technologies to the study of microbial populations and their metabolic function. He has over 60 peer-reviewed publications in microbiology and bioinformatics, and he has led multiple large-scale international genomic projects. 

He has served as a consultant for the WHO’s Grand Challenges in Genomics for Public Health in Developing Countries, is a scientific advisor for NIH’s Viral Pathogen Bioinformatics Resource Center and serves on the editorial board of Genome Medicine.

Dr Ruchi Gupta

Dr Ruchi Gupta, MD, MPH is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Clinical Attending Physician at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and the founding Director of the Centre for Food Allergy & Asthma Research.

She is recognized for her research in the areas of food allergy and asthma epidemiology, specifically her research on childhood food allergy prevalence. She has contributed to academic research surrounding economic costs, paediatric management of food allergy and asthma, ED visits and hospitalizations, quality of life and community interventions, especially in schools. 

Regarding clinical care, she has published strategies to improve primary care management of both food allergy and asthma. Within the area of community health, she and her team have published some the largest studies on quality of life in food allergy as well as on labelling, risk-taking and school policies of epinephrine.

Professor Agathe Raynaud-Simon

Professor Agathe Raynaud-Simon,  heads the Geriatrics Department of Bichat, Beaujon and Bretonneau APHP hospitals and she is Professor of Gerontology and Geriatrics in Paris Cité University. She is now president of the Food and Nutrition committee of APHP hospitals, vice-president of the French Nutrition Federation and treasurer of the association Collectif Dénutrition that organizes Malnutrition Week in France. She coordinated the drafting of the French High Health Authority guidelines on nutrition in the elderly in 2007 and 2021 and contributed to the ESPEN guidelines on clinical nutrition and hydration in geriatrics in 2019. She is the author of more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals

Professor David Hunter

Dr David Hunter, Florance and Cope Chair of Rheumatology and Professor of Medicine at University of Sydney is a rheumatologist epidemiologist. He completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, a fellowship in Rheumatology at the Royal Australian College of Physicians, earned a Masters of Medical Science (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Newcastle, a Masters of Sports Medicine from UNSW and a PhD from the University of Sydney. He completed his doctoral thesis looking at the genetics of osteoarthritis. 

He is a board member of the International Osteoarthritis Research Society and a founding member of the Osteoarthritis Imaging Group. He is an advisory editor for Arthritis Care and Research, and an associate editor for Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, and BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders. In his current work he is investigating a number of key elements in osteoarthritis including the epidemiology of osteoarthritis.

Professor Louise Burke

Professor Louise Burke, OAM is an Australian Sports Dietitian, academic and author.

She has been a sports dietitian for 40 years, with experience in the education and counselling of elite athletes. She worked at the Australian Institute of Sport for 30 years, first as Head of Sports Nutrition and then as Chief of Nutrition Strategy. She is an editor of the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism. Louise was a founding member of the Executive of Sports Dietitians Australia and is a Director of the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition.

She was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2009 for her contribution to sports nutrition. Louise was appointed as Chair in Sports Nutrition in the Mary MacKillop Institute of Health Research at Australian Catholic University in Melbourne in 2014 and took up this position in a full-time capacity in 2020.

Professor Rodriguez Mañas

Professor Rodriguez Mañas is the Head of the Department of Geriatrics at Hospital Universitario de Getafe, Madrid, Spain and Professor of Geriatrics at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

His research focuses on the clinical investigation of human vascular (endothelial) ageing and on the mechanisms of vascular damage in diabetes. 

Professor Mañas holds many key positions including coordinator of the Spanish Collaborative Research Network on Aging and Frailty - RETICEF (Ministry of Science and Innovation), co-director of the epidemiologic study “Toledo Study on Healthy Ageing” and founding member and President of the Academia Latinoamericana de Medicina del Adulto Mayor (ALMA). He is also a published author.

Professor Stephen Cunnane

Professor Stephen Cunnane is a Professor at the Université de Sherbrooke, Canada, from the Department of Medicine, where he holds the Clinical Research Chair in Ketotherapeutics.

The main themes of his current research are to use brain imaging techniques to study changing brain fuel metabolism and cognitive function during aging, and to understand how and why omega-3 fatty acid homeostasis changes during aging. He has published over 280 peer-reviewed research papers and was elected to the French National Academy of Medicine in 2009.

Stephen has also published five books including two on flaxseed in human health and two on nutritional and metabolic constraints on human brain evolution – ‘Survival of the Fattest: The Key to Human Brain Evolution’ (World Scientific 2005), and ‘Human Brain Evolution: Influence of Fresh and Coastal Food Resources’ (Wiley, 2010).
