Aron McNicholas is a Community Herbalist and Functional Medicine Practitioner. Aron began his journal in herbalism by studying at Hobbit Gardens with Constance Ferry. Afterwards, he went out to Ithaca NY to study with the Clinical Herbalist 7Song at The Northeastern School of Botanical Medicine. Most recently, Aron is working towards completing his masters degree in Functional Medicine. Today, Aron serves the community by offering wildcrafted herbal medicine through his company Hartwood Herbals and conducts plants walks, monthly classes, and one-on-one consultations. I'm a holistic functional medicine chiropractor and homeschooling mom blessed with 4 incredible children and an amazing husband.  "Alternative medicine" and nutrition has been a part of my entire life as my family has owned and operated a local health food store, GEORGETOWN MARKET for 40+ years!  I graduated Logan College of Chiropractic with a special interest in pediatrics and prenatal care.   After a traumatic birth experience with my first born who spent 6 weeks in the NICU / PICU after being on ECMO, my deeper dive into FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE and gut health exploded.  I have worked at the Center for Functional Medicine for over 10 years and specialize in gut health, autoimmunity, thyroid and hormones, and much more!
