Josh Powell has been the Lead pastor at Taylors First Baptist Church in Taylors, SC since February, 2021. Previously he has served as a pastor in South Carolina and Kentucky. He is a graduate of North Greenville University (‘98) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (‘03). As a lifelong Southern Baptist, Josh has served in many different capacities within the  denomination, including President of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and Chairman of the Board for both Southern Seminary and North Greenville University. Josh is happily married to his wife Allison and they have four children.
