In today's episode we go over 8 easy steps to improve your confidence in the gym and in life. 

1- Self-awareness

  • Understand your strengths, weaknesses, and areas where you lack confidence. Reflect on past successes and challenges to identify patterns that affect your self-esteem.

2- Positive self-talk

  • Challenge negative thoughts and replace them with positive affirmations. Focus on your accomplishments and remind yourself of your abilities.

3- Follow through with your actions & make decisions quick

  • We often lose confidence due to simply not believing in ourselves
  • Actually do what you say you’re going to do
  • Practice making decisions quick. Ask yourself what’s the worse that’ll happen. Choosing dinner and buying a house for you. Two very different things.

4- Skill development

  • example- form videos help with confidence
  • Acquire new skills or enhance existing ones. Gaining expertise in various areas can make you feel more capable and competent.

5 - Limit comparisons

  • Comparing yourself to others is an incredibly easy way to kill your confidence.
  • If this is hard for you- limit social media/who you’re following

6- Presentation

  • Dress and grooming- When you feel put-together, it can reflect positively on your confidence.
  • Body language- Maintain good posture, make eye contact, etc

7- Face your fears

  • Gradually expose yourself to situations that challenge your comfort zone. Each small step you take will help you build resilience and self-assurance.
  • Isolate your fear. Pin it down. Determine exactly what you are afraid of then TAKE ACTION!

8- Don’t overthink - charisma

  • Don’t overthink what you said or you do - move on - think back to an embarrassing moment
  • Listen and learn from everyone

  • Spend time with supportive and uplifting people who believe in your abilities and encourage your growth.
