What do you think of when you hear the term "social rest?" Solitude? Unplugging from social media? Eliminating the noise in your life? Whelp, it's none of those things. Not in this chapter anyway.
The truth is, we were not made to do life alone. God created us for connection and all of us have a deep longing to be seen. To be known. Social rest is when we find comfort in our relationships and social interactions.
This week we are on Chapter 8 of "Sacred Rest" by Saundra Dalton-Smith, where we discuss in this two-part series, the power of finding solace in one another.
