Violeta Sandoval is a first generation Mexican immigrant. As a First Gen, Violeta had to navigate college and finances on her own. Working two jobs to stay afloat and pay for college, she eventually hit a roadblock. After joining the Navy, she was able to gain financial stability and purchase her first home, putting her on a path to real estate investing. Through the Navy she earned a STEM degree and now conducts inspections on Naval ships, squadrons and ashore sites as a Naval Industrial Hygiene Officer. Violeta earns over $50k in passive income via real estate investing. She is also working on expanding her e-commerce small business. As the creator of MoneyChisme, she aims to share her experience and help others learn financial literacy, gain financial freedom, and build wealth.
