Ben Sheppard

On this week's episode of 'Gone Running', Ben welcomes George Scholey!

George has just broken the World Record for the most amount of Rubik’s cubes solved while running a marathon. He managed 520 in the 26.2 miles crossing the line in a time of 4.24.

An incredible personal achievement, yes, but also a celebration of the cube that has taught George so many lessons over the years in this its 50th year.

In this conversation Ben and George talk about the other World Records he also holds, how he actually trained to run a sub 2.50 marathon while in the build for London and why he thinks he may have underestimated the weight of the cubes he had to carry around the course.
