Today's article from the National Mortgage Professional "Homes sales rise - along with prices and inventory" states that home sales are up 4.2% from last year with a 17% rise in inventory due to so much demand. 

Everything's up - including home prices. Things are improving month after month, revealing a lot of pent up demand. People are getting into the market despite circumstances. This is great news, and this year is definitely looking up compared to last years housing market.
