EP.05 - Angela Hick Registered Clinical Social Worker - "I Am Taking Care of My Son's Mother"
Come hang with Registered Clinical Social Worker, Angela Hick MSW, RCSW. Instagram @angelahick. In this episode, we journey through our experiences as mothers as we talk about postpartum, building connections with our children, the adjustment of parenthood and ensuring self-awareness is prioritized to care for your family. With similar educational backgrounds in child and adolescent mental health we explore how challenging it can be to utilize our education in raising our own children. We talk about building a sense of awareness as parents and caregivers to realize when we are good, often we see our children doing good as a result. Whether you have children or care for someone in your life, take a talk with us as we believe lessons in care can be complimentary.
