On this week’s episode of Open, Emma is joined by ex British detective Nina Hobson who, fifteen years ago, went undercover into the British police to expose the racism and sexism within the force. Her findings became a BAFTA nominated episode of Dispatches and the documentary resulted in changes to the laws around training within the police and to a much higher rate of female officers being accepted and in higher ranking positions. She went onto live and work in LA as a private investigator and bodyguard and is the host of her own true crime podcast - Codename:Siren.
