Erik Aker has been a software engineer in San Diego for the last 12 years with specializations in full-stack software and cloud infrastructure. For about a decade before becoming a software engineer, Erik was a Linux enthusiast, a freelance journalist, and an educator. 

After 45 years of computering, Mike Mull has a long history of work to draw on as an individual contributor, manager, and CTO, across various specializations including data science,  simulation, Linux, and cloud infrastructure. He's worked at large and small companies and been present for major developments in the industry.   He listens to lots of music and reads lots of books.  If he were fancy he would describe his taste as "eclectic" but a more appropriate word would be "indiscriminate".
