Father Don Farnan writes the “Upon This Rock” blog. He is the founder and director of the Farnan Spirituality Center (FSC) in Kansas City, Missouri, and Special Assistant for Faith-Justice. Mission and Ministry. at Rockhurst University, Kansas City; and serves as Pastor for Saint James and Saint Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, both a part of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Secondary Education from Rockhurst, a Master of Divinity from The University of Saint Mary of the Lake—Mundelein Seminary, Chicago, and a Master of Christian Spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 13, 1987, for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
