Episode 23 Don't outsource what you own
Jun 02, 2024 Season 2 Episode 23
Nienke van Bezooijen

When we feel emotionally under pressure, we tend to hide how we feel.
We give our response to how we feel away by blaming and shaming others for how we feel.
Polarisation is a mask. The masculine form is the overpowering, attack as the best defence. The feminine mask is to get people in your camp of victimhood, showing how awful you feel because of their behaviour. We justify our behaviour because we outsource the control of how we feel to others.
We see this in our world leaders, but how about ourselves? What do we tell ourselves?
In this week's episode, Nienke shares her challenge of choosing a mask or a look in the mirror.
She chose what fits her authentic self. How about you?

We are all responsible for how we show up in the world, to others, ánd to ourselves. With Phoenix Frequencies, Nienke van Bezooijen shines her light on what we can do to be the best versions of ourselves based on how we show up and what we are willing to learn. It isn't about showing the way with pretended positivity, it is the heart-based vulnerability-sharing options. It takes courage to rise. See what is for you. Or share with others. Perfect doesn't exist; curiosity can be the stepping stone to broaden your perspectives.
