Rashmi Schramm, MD

Heads up, friend! This conversation contains a few f-bombs so please keep that in mind as you listen - especially if you have sensitive ears or are perhaps sharing the episode with someone who may be sensitive to explicit language.

Shideh shares her truly harrowing story of sustaining life threatening traumatic head injury at one of the world's most iconic monuments - the Taj Mahal.
When she fell off a high ledge at the Taj Mahal on the first day of her honeymoon, she had such significant head injury that she was noted to have multiple areas of bleeding from the blood vessels in her brain. She tells the story with much gusto and places the f-bomb precisely, as you may notice.

We talk about how hiring her first life coach created a huge shift. How we can heal in community, how these cracks in our lives are actually things that let the light in.

We laugh a lot, use words like "petticoat" and talk about how empowering inner peace truly is. I think you'll truly enjoy this episode.

Dr. Shideh Shafie is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown University and a dedicated performance coach, excels in transforming life's pressures into pillars of strength. Focused on stress management and neuroplasticity, she guides leaders and high achievers towards achieving a harmonious balance between professional success and personal satisfaction. Her method encourages shifting from overthinking and stagnation to taking decisive action and embracing growth, leading you to discover true joy and inner peace. Beyond her professional realm, Dr. Shafie finds joy in playing tennis, hiking, and cherishing moments with her twins, truly living the balanced and enriched life she passionately promotes.
