Interpreters get interrupted all of the time. They get interrupted in their sessions, in their relationships, in their healthcare, in their finances, and even in their own self-awareness. Welcome to interpreters and interrupters. A podcast community for interpreters of all languages. I'm your host, Maritza.. Whether you're a new interpreter, a student or a seasoned interpreter, I hope that you find valuable information here. I post a weekly terminology practice session called Ring of Fire. It covers the categories of legal medical and general. I also have a YouTube video channel. But I am very uncomfortable in front of the camera and it shows. I'm speaking a mile a minute, and I appear awkward. It's no wonder. I don't like video remote, interpreting. I prefer audio podcasting. It's just me, the mic, and somewhere out there, you. An interpreter looking for answers that I hope to provide. I've been an interpreter for about 10 years. And I've worked in legal and medical interpreting. I live in a mountain state, and I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and snowshoeing. I'd like to get to know you better. Send me a message through fan mail and tell me what state you live in and what type of interpreting you do. Thank you for listening. Join me in the next episode of interpreters and interrupters.
