Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

Allen Berry
Allen Berry from Galt, Missouri has officiated MSHAA Basketball games for 27 years throughout north Missouri. He officiated 3 Missouri championship games and many junior college games at North Central Missouri College. He mentored many officials and was an evaluator for MSHAA for several years. He serves on the NCMC Holiday Hoops Committee and recruits officials to work those game (40+ games each year)

Jeremi Barnes
Jeremi Barnes is a MSHAA HIgh School Football Official who at age 26 is dedicated to recruiting young referees to the profession through his social media platforms on TikTok and Instagram. A former multisport athlete at Ohara High School, Jeremy was a student athlete at Avila College and the University of Central Missouri in track and field. He starting refereeing at age 15 and is now in is 11th year as a certified official. His social media following is now over 195,000 people with his video clips, filmed by his wife Madison, giving followers an inside mic'd up look at the interactions and fun parts of being a high school football official.
