Courtney Collado (she/they) is an interdisciplinary dance artist and dance athlete. Her artistic endeavors investigate social, political, and emotional issues through an unflinching lens. As a dance educator, Courtney is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in and around the dance studio, and encourages students of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes to express autonomy and dance in ways that support their individual bodies. 

BodyPolitic was created as part of Courtney's course of study during her MFA work at Hollins University.
