As a Canadian, I am always so impressed by your knowledge and impassioned comments about my country’s participation and sacrifice to the First World War. Unfortunately I’ve had only one opportunity to visit Ypres, although I’ve been to visit the Belgian crash site and gravesite of my husband’s uncle killed in a Lancaster bomber in WW2 a couple of times. My dream is to go back to Flanders and participate in a Leger tour, to see the WW1 cemeteries and battlefields,  but at 72 years old, I don’t think it will happen. Thank you so much for your podcasts. I’m happy to support your work in bringing me closer to that dream, perhaps only from afar.

hi. We are visiting Ypres soon and I have been listening to your podcast. They are really great and we are looking forward to visiting the area and walking the front line etc. I have some family connections to both WW1 and WW2 and have a picture of my great uncle Harry sitting in front of the same building on the cover of episode 16. Do you know where this is?
