SelfKind: Conversations in self-care, kindness and compassion for highly sensitive people
Hi and welcome to SelfKind with me, Erica Webb. This is a podcast for Highly Sensitive People (HSP) who want to navigate the tricky bits of their sensitivity with more ease, while finding their sensitivity super powers. Here, we're all about being, living and moving through a lens of self compassion and kindness.
As your host, I meet you as a fellow HSP. I know what it's like to feel like things are too loud, too bright and just ... too much. In my work as a registered counsellor and mindful movement coach, I've supported myself and my clients to find ways to embrace their sensitivity that centre on self-compassion, nervous system regulation, self-awareness and, ultimately, self-love.
From mindfulness, mindful movement, joy seeking and a zillion and one practices in between, here you'll find space to be fully you - fully human - and the tools to navigate the tricky bits of having a highly sensitive nervous system.
I’m thrilled you’re here.

Ep 264: Reclaiming emotions and self-care with Rosalie Woods
Why might we need to ‘reclaim’ certain emotional qualities? And how would we even do that? I’ve invited today’s guest to share exactly that with us! Today I’m chatting with Life Coach Rosalie Woods. Rosalie - a flawsome human! - shares from her diverse life experiences. emphasising the importance of acknowledging and integrating our shadow parts for personal growth.
Our conversation delves into reclaiming emotional qualities, particularly anger, fear, and hurt, and why that reclaiming asks us to find healthy expressions of these emotions.
We also discuss the critical role of self-care, what boundaries have to do with it, and the powerful force that resentment can play.
Rosalie offers practical tips for reclaiming disowned emotional qualities, improving communication, and even finding ways to celebrate our wins along the way.
Tune in to hear our full chat!
About Rosalie:
Rosalie is a flawsome human.... A mother, a business owner, a coach, a sister, a daughter, an ex-wife, a nutritionist, a PhD doctor, a traveler, a learner and a doer and on a quest to lead an awesome life on her terms. She is a reforming people-pleaser, conflict avoider and ‘let’s stick it out to the very end’ kind of person....
Some years back, when her own life was unravelling, she discovered the work of best-selling author and Master Life Coach, Nancy Levin. Nancy’s step by step processes guided Rosalie to navigate through the turmoil and transform her life.
Rosalie has now become a certified Life Coach so she can continue to live life on her terms and share what she has learnt with others, so they can do the same. She is on a mission to help 1,000 people to recover from the curveballs of life, to make the small changes that move them forward with clarity, confidence and compassion, so they shine again. She does this through her step by step online Rediscovering You individual and group programs.
