Just For Today

#86 How to Explore Uncomfortable Emotions

Steph Grainger

Send me a text message, if you have enjoyed this weeks episode, I would love to hear from you!

Hey Hey!

In this week's episode of Just For Today, I, Steph Grainger, Therapeutic Mentor, delve into the significance of experiencing uncomfortable emotions.
Why should all the feelings we experience be comfortable, and are the uncomfortable ones, emotions that we shouldn't explore or experience?

I discuss the unconscious mind's role in our fight, flight, or freeze responses and how these reactions are deeply rooted in our primal instincts.

Drawing from personal experiences and client work, I share insights on how to sit with these uncomfortable feelings, understand their messages, and work through them. By reconnecting with all our emotions, even the ones we wish to suppress, we can reveal what needs to be healed and move forward with greater self-awareness and compassion.

Join me as I explore the importance of allowing ourselves to feel and understand the full spectrum of our emotions, and how this practice can lead to a more balanced and present life.

If this conversation resonates with you, please share it with someone who could also benefit from these insights. Don't forget to subscribe, leave a review, and follow me on social media for more updates and inspiration.
